I was there eating churrasco and yellow rice and I found small roaches on the rice! It was disgusting and by the way I still had to pay the bill. Be careful when you eat in this restaurant it is veryy disgusting!!!

Popped in here, last night to try the carnitas. My friend eats here often, and has brought me tacos before but I wanted to check them fresh. We got 2 beef empanadas and an order of carnitas tacos(3 p/o). The empanadas were soso… ok for a mex place, I def prefer Colombian style though. The tacos w just some cilantro, onion, and lime have a great taste going… and they really give you a lot of meat… my only complaint is they’re a little dry. No gristle at all. Nice fresh double corn tortillas. The restaurant takes up two storefronts, one being the counter area w ice cream case and juice station and the other a dining room. Very clean. We really like that we can get mexican sprite, coke AND pepsi here, and they accept plastic. This place makes a wide assortment of all natural juices and smoothies from the expected tropical flavors, to some interesting ones like wheat and granola, which I will have to try. A granola smoothie sounds pretty different n interesting in the good way. The girl at the counter was very friendly, and had no problem communicating w Roger and I seperately in Spanish and English respectively, which is always a bonus. I know this isnt always the first neighborhood everyone wants to checkout on a busy NIGHT service, but its a solid spot, and no good ethnic food comes without a little adventure! I know Roger comes here a lot, and for pollo asado across the st. at el gordo… I’d def return, altho my fav is still el aguilar.
