Visited a while back after it opened, liked that it was clean and the indoor range was REALLY nice. Loved having an outdoor archery range.
Why 3 stars? They will not honor Groupon vouchers for archery except for during the week. I looked everywhere in the fine print prior to purchase to make sure I could use it on the weekend. When I called to make a reservation they said I could not use it. There is $ 16 down the drain.

Excellent range to shoot at in central Ohio. Range distance is 75ft or greater (I shoot hand guns at 50 so I didn’t find out the max). Well lit. Well ventilated. Clean and maintained floors. Clean booths. Friendly staff. No BS, sign in. go shoot. Friendly staff. Decent selection of guns. Computer controlled target range set. Highly recommend for indoor shooting.

The Bullet Ranch is one of the nicest gun stores I have been in.
The staff is inviting and polite even when the dumbest of questions are asked. They want you to be comfortable not intimidated by all of the differences on today’s firearms. They take the time to be sure the customer knows what they have and how to safely operate what it is they are getting.
I recently had a scope put on my rifle, my first scope. I was directed to the scopes that will work with my rifle and they mounted and sighted it in for me.
The rental guns are numerous and varied all the way from a S&W .38 to a full auto M4 (AKA) M16.
The range is clean and well lighted with the ability to adjust the lighting on each lane. The distance can be adjusted out to 75 feet.
There are a few things missing, they need some rocking chairs on the front porch so we can sit and watch traffic and tell lies. In the winter those missing rocking chairs should be around the missing fireplace for the same purpose. We also need fresh lemonade during the summer and hot coffee year round.
Other than those few issues its a great place. As with all stores that are not big box stores with mega buying power sometimes ammo is sparse. If you have an odd request or uncommon caliber, just ask and they will do their best to get that ammo for you.

The Bullet Ranch is as good as it gets when looking for a shooting range or firearms education. Every member of their staff I’ve interacted with has valued safety over all things followed immediately by education. They’ve done a great job cultivating a «there is no such thing as a stupid question» mentality and as such is the first place I recommend for new or experienced shooters in Columbus. The lanes are clean, well lit and allow the users to position their targets up to 75 feet away with the digital keypad so you don’t have to eyeball it like some other local lanes. I’ve taken my CCW course, Advanced Handguns I and Advanced Handguns II courses there. All were great experiences.

They do have great employees, I was in there tonight at 5:10 and the sign says they are open till 6:00. I was told I have a half hour to shoot, we close at 5:45. I just bought a new gun and wanted to try it out. Yes I was happy to shoot for a half hour but not at a full hour rate. Also I Was going to buy bullets you lost money and possibly a good customer.

Very happy with my experience at the Bullet Ranch for my first time shooting. Wait time for a lane was about 1 hour but we were warned of the wait time when we called ahead. The instructor Tom was very clear with his explanations of the handgun and was very patient as I was very nervous and out of my comfort zone. Overall a great place and would definitely go back!

The Bullet Ranch is the best range I’ve been to. The staff is very knowledgeable, the prices are very fair and the facilities are top notch. I bring my Sons and it’s a great way to bond. Whenever anyone asks me what range I go to, I always send them their way and not just for shooting. They also have a very strong training and classroom side of the house. Highly recommend these guys.

Everyone here is so awesome!!! I’m so happy to have a range so close to home and not have to travel 20−30−40 minutes away. It’s like a hidden gem!!!

The Bullet Ranch is a newer range in Pataskala. Store is large and staff are exceptionally nice. They have a decent gun selection for purchase or rental. Lanes are clean and rent for $ 25. I would suggest bringing your own ammo and targets, as theirs is limited and a bit expensive.
