Best baklava I have ever had! You can customize any type of arrangement whether it is a box or a tray. For the years that I have been going, the sweets are always fresh and tasty. The right amount of sweet. The other places nearby in Paterson overdo the amount of syrup and the baklava can get soggy. This is definitely the go to place for Middle Eastern sweets!

Poor excuse for baklava. Tasteless and texture-less. Just a chewy lump.

It was so hard to choose among all the good looking baklava varieties. I ended up trying a few and loved them all. These are true Syrian/Lebanese desserts. Gotta try them.

If you’re looking for cupcakes and that sort of thing, I don’t think this is the place. Walked in because the I had some time to kill before the hookah store opened I needed change for the meter. The family running everything was very pleasant. I received a chorus of good mornings from all the girls working here. Their father offered to explain what the things were, guess cuz I don’t look like someone who would know Middle Eastern desserts. I love baklava. This place has walnut, pistachio, and almond baklava. I went with the traditional pistachio. It was very good. I also had a few chocolate covered orange peels. Those were also good. Everything is sold by the pound, at fair prices. Not sure if I’m ever going to need a pound of baklava, but I know where I can get some now.

This place is truly adorable! and the pastries are amazing – the best baklava I’ve ever had! The service is impeccable, they are almost always open, and you really cannot find this kind of quality and authenticity anywhere else. They even have a decent sugar free selection to choose from. I get a lot of gift platters from here for house warmings or parties, etc. – whether you call ahead or just walk-in, they’re always happy to prep whatever you need. I really love this place, go go go!

Pretty little shop. Good selection of Middle-eastern specialties. I tried the walnut baklava and the cashew baklava, both very nice. Friendly service.

Walking off a food coma on Main St. after eating massive amounts of Turkish food, we stumbled upon this place. To our surprise, it was still open at 10pm on a Sunday(they close at 11). The lady there was nice. Décor was cute, totally unexpected for the traditional desserts they serve. We thought it was a random pastry shop. The pistachio roll is always my go to dessert. It was good. I think I have to try it again to see if it was memorable. I also got an almond roll and a walnut cookie. You do pay buy the pound here for most things. So like for cookies at an italian bakery, it can add up. Will give it another go. It would be a three but considering the hours, décor, and the fact they carry the pistachio rolls. I give it a 4.
