Should be your go-to breakfast joint. Fast, cheap and delicious platters. Charming style with polite service.

Consistently delicious simple and generously portioned meals. It’s an old fashioned cash only diner, but we’ll worth a visit more than once. Have only had their breakfast, need to try their lunch items some time. It’s in Paterson near Corrados. Come on down :)

This is a great little hole in the wall diner where you get a good amount of food for a little bit of money your coffee is good as well as the service

Finally made it here, and it was just what I hoped for. Cool old breakfast place. Good food and service. Watching a truly skilled short order cook is a real treat. Bring cash, but you won’t need too much.

Don’t pass up this treasure. If you like a good old fashioned breakfast, The Eggplatter is the place to go. The eggs are perfect every time. Just bring cash because it is all they accept. The best place for breakfast!

This place is nothing fancy, but expect consistency and an authentic New Jersey experience.

It did what it was suppose to do. The food was really good and hit the spot. After a night of dancing, you wake up on Saturday wanting pancakes and bacon for cheap. And that’s what we got. The place is small, but worth it. The only downfall is that they don’t deliver. If they did, it would be the icing on the cake. I have never had their lunch food, but the breakfast food is good. This side of Paterson is not bad. However, you have to remain vigilant wherever you go– even in the suburbs!

Eggplatter is that trashy, small joint you drive past and notice and wonder about. but never go in. Unless you’re a hungry cheap bitch like me, or a drunken degenerate on a late night. Everything is cheap & made quickly. Its not exactly high-class, Zaggat rated food, but its good and filling. You will leave stuffed and happy. Cash only so beware plastic users!

Eggplatter is extremely cheap with decent food. They don’t hand out menus to customers. Instead they have it all on the board above the counter seats. Not sure why this place has bad reviews. There really isn’t anything not to like about it. It’s not a fancy, high class diner by any means nor does it pretend to be. It’s in a much lower class than the diners around us so please don’t come here and expect something elegant. This place is ancient as hell and it looks like they haven’t changed a thing since it opened. But the food and service are decent, consistent and quick. So, if you want a quick, cheap meal from a diner without any frills, this is your place. I don’t understand their hours. They’re open 10pm — 3pm. When I first saw that, I thought it must be a typo. It’s not. I still really can’t figure out who they’re catering to. Breakfast, lunch and late night drunk people I suppose. Screw the dinner crowd, who needs em’. I’ve been here a couple times for lunch only. I would love to come here late night just to see what it’s like but I’m scared of Paterson at night. Love their breakfast, eggs, omelettes and bacon. Their grilled chicken sandwiches are good. They don’t flavor the chicken at all, no salt or pepper but at least they’re thin pieces of chicken that aren’t under-cooked. I had their Greek salad too which was whatever. Not like how a regular diner would make it but it was good enough when I just wanted to eat some lettuce.

This is diner like pictured with a menu on the wall only, mostly breakfast but some fast food basics and 4 or so salads. The tables were a bit old but service was quick and affordable; eggs start at $ 3 and hamburgers at $ 6. That said, if for lunch, I would grab a falafel across the street on the other corner of Crooks and Getty!

Decent food. You got to be careful late at night. They try to take advantage of the drunk people, luckily we were sober when they tried their tricks…

«Cheap food that’s good» should be the slogan. Instead it’s «21 varieties of egg platters» or something like that. This is the most Jersey of all diners, bar none. First off, it’s open from 10pm to 3pm. Those hours alone just blow me away: they don’t even try to compete for dinner service, preferring to focus on their core competency of feeding blue collar stiffs with about four bucks in lunch money, which is the second feature. You can literally get two eggs, toast, and coffee for $ 2.50, and that’s up from $ 1.95 only one year ago. Third, this is a real diner car sunk onto concrete, with a half-assed addition that’s just a thing of architectural insanity. That counter has served one billion locals in its lifetime. Finally, it has the most effective used car lot in America. One car, right next to the Getty Avenue side, will be on sale there and in about two days, sold. Any car that gets that spot gets sold within 72 hours. It’s like magic.
