Chilliest and cleanest environmental lounge to be kept in mind when you wanna smoke hookah. Hookah is amazing I tried and felt the real juicy flavor of hookah. Went there last night Saturday the staff and owner were such nice ppl that they made us feel like its our own home. And we really enjoyed the hookah and the environment. Mostly recommended for and is a fun place for age 18 – 28. I would say Caz most ppl were young and dancing in whole lounge… youth was on fire…

MOONLIGHT Hookah Lounge is Paterson New Jersey the première destination for adults seeking, a comfortable, grown, sleek, and intimate atmosphere to relax in, while engaging in hookah, and conversation. Located in the heart of South Paterson, New Jersey, we specialize in all things hookah, come out and join us 7 days a week for a nice relaxing environment, that is reminiscent of an upscale, modern lounge.

I’ve been to this hookah«café» a couple of times and each ocassion has been just as bad as the first time. Firstly, the owner is very rude. Whenever a new group of guests come in, he moves you and does not bother to ask nicely. Secondly, the music is very repetitive. Thirdly, the drinks are ridiculously overpriced; a small can of Coke costs $ 2.00. Lastly, the overall atmosphere of the place is very dull and boring. I consider this«café» a last-resort option, but i don’t recommend it.

I have been to this place a couple times. The only good thing is the coal service. The owner is very rude and every time I came he moved me and my friends around the lounge. He does not know how to speak to customers and had a very nasty attitude. This has happened every time I came here. They play the same exact music play list as well which gets boring. That is not good customer service. If you sit someone down that is there seat for the night. Instead he cramps a bunch of people together and is not courteous at all. I won’t go back again and I don’t recommend this to anyone.

Save yourself the time and don’t go here because I would never recommend this place ever. The service is horrible, absolutely horrible. I felt like the employees avoided making eye contact when you needed something. It took forever to get their attention, from asking to buy a drink or asking to change the coals. The employees aren’t very welcoming to new customers as you can see they play favoritism to their friends. But if you do end up going here, save yourself money by not buying their drinks. I ordered a strawberry-banana smoothie that was $ 8 when I could have made it at home with all of the ice fully blended without leaving massive ice chunks. The only nice thing I could say is the bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated but other than that I’m never coming back.

We hosted an event for our hookah brand at this venue and it was a success. The manager was very nice to us and introduced us to local store owners as well since we were in that area to push our product. It’s a BYOB spot, so we it was nice to be able to bring your own booze of choice. What’s extra cool is how they set up their hookahs with grapefruits! This spot seemed to be the neighborhood spot, as we saw locals come in and out of the lounge. Recommend this spot for quality hookah-ing and a good time.

Was hoping that this place would be big … WRONG . As for my first experience it was a nice environment but the mangers and staff were very rude and can tell all they cared about was the money. I went in for a second time just to see maybe we went on an off night. We went through the doors at 10 pm and we were told $ 15 for each person at the door(it was a group of 3) and you can get a free hookah, so we did that. This is definitely a high price just to enter somewhere that had horrible choice of music and was completely empty. As time went on we invited a few more friends and when my friends arrived 11 ish there was the $ 15 deal going on, no more then 20 minutes pass by and the rest of our group arrive and they are told to pay $ 30 each without a hookah and I believe this is because they were guys and it was 15 for us girls. That’s insane increase of pricing .its ridiculous so we left and I am never going back. Also one of the employees asks to start it up for us and continued to take a couple of pulls from our hookahs as if he paid for it and he was lounging around as if he were off the clock and this wasn’t only us it was happening too he was doing that with everyone like he was getting a freebie

Went with my best friend and we both enjoyed the hookah. The reviews left me expecting a crowd but they was only a couple other people there. it was very relaxing, it’s great for going to chat and catch up with a friend, music was playing the entire time different genres they maybe multiple tvs, it was very nice the manager was kind and kept checking on us. we did order mint tea but we just ordered regular because they ran out. didn’t see any food on the menu just hookah and drinks. I would go back.

Honestly I called ahead of time and asked if there was a cover charge… the owner charged us at the door $ 15 each person and the second person basically pays the hookah(this is on Saturday btw). So for three people basically pays $ 45 for one hookah. The music is ok it’s off a radio and playlist Back to the owner or manager he actually ask people to move so he can put more customers in for money but instead of asking them nicely he just said you gotta move here yes now damn rude I swear. I had high hopes to a point for this place. But you know what we made the best out of the night that’s all you can do. At least he let us bring a bottle. Yea it’s a BYOB place but you have to pay for the cups but he let us slide. So that’s why I’m putting a 2 out of 5 for this place

I don’t rate a business one star until things are horribly wrong. To be fair let me start with what’s good : — hookah is good — coal service is good — seats are good — music is loud but good — ambience is not bad — they have fresh juice which I never tried. Bad/worse: The owner does not know how to talk to customers. He treats them like chairs. He moved me 4 times in less than an hour to accommodate other customers. I was being helpful and honestly I didn’t mind it so much. But then he said to me your time is up. I thought he must be joking but then I realized he started talking loudly to a staff whether I paid or not. That was so rude. Anyways I have some self respect so I decided to leave. It was raining outside so I waited few minutes outside the door to get in the car which was a bit far in the parking lot. I was not blocking anything just waiting for rain to calm down. The owner I guess he calls himself Romeo comes out and tells me you cannot stand here if you’re done you have to leave. That was so disrespectful. I thought it might be a standalone case but then I saw review by Chirag here and he faced exactly what I experienced. So yes guys it’s a great place if you don’t have any self respect and you are okay being treated like a douche bag. I am not coming again.

So they’re open late. Coal service is quick. Hookah is decent, but nothing to write home about. Crowd isn’t as calm but if that’s your thing, this is your spot. They get the extra star because they have a private lot in the rear. You should definitely park there if you’re coming later at night

Good spot, nothing special. The place is kinda weird mix of a juice bar and a club, they also have protein drinks which is strange. The decorations were strange as well, kind of a mash of all different themes. The hookah was good, not priced bad for the area, but not the best I have had. The coal guy needed to bring more coals rather than sit in the back.
