Nails Twenty One

Really nice nail salon and huge color variety. Went in for a gel manicure and my nails starting chipping that night.

If I could rate this place lower than a one I would!
Went in today around 5:40 in the afternoon, it was quite busy. I came in to do tips previously done by a lady named Nana. Unfortunately she wasn’t there today so I relied on a man named Simon. I was a little neglecting on getting my nails done by him but kind of disregarded my gut feeling because my nails looked ugly and I wanted to get them done for my birthday this Friday. Anyway back to the story, Simon begins to do my nails, as he begins to file away my nails I can’t help but to grimace in pain because he kept putting a lot of pressure on it. I told myself that it was fine and that at least my nails will look good. I opted for the almond shaped nail, as soon as he began filing the nail he begins to rush and was finished in less than ten minutes with my nails. I looked at my nails and I was incredibly upset with them, they were crooked, different length a not the almond shape I was looking for they were more of an oval shape. Simon left me with another co worker so she could do the polish. Immediately I called him back and complained because both my index fingers were uneven and weird. He never apologized for rushing on his job, he merely fixed the nail with an extension, the other nails were crooked but I couldn’t bare myself to continue with the pain every time he kept filing. He finished what was a lousy job! I got up washed my hands and told him o don’t want nothing
I payed and i left.
Probably the worst na experience in my life. I cried on my way home.

This is my go-​to salon! Though the location sucks and there’s a lack of parking, the service is incredible. Owner is accommodating, the women are very sweet, there’s complimentary back massages on weekends and the prices are awesome! I always leave happy with a great mani/​pedi! Happy I found this place.

I came here with a Groupon for a gel manicure (which really was an amazing deal, as Leslie below says!) and a gel manicure is what I got. Good service, yeah the nail technicians aren’t particularly fluent in English but most of the time, you pick a color, sit down and let them do their thing, which I am content with doing.
Great quality, good selection of gel and basic manicure colors.
Parking around here is a little difficult, I came on a Sunday so there was no charge for metered parking on the street, but parking was pretty tight.
There was a $ 2 «tax» the owner charged me for the Groupon, which I never experienced before so I was like ookay. People getting pedicures looked like they were enjoying themselves.
Its a small place with not fantastic ventilation so that *nail polish salon* hits you when you come in, and I probably wouldn’t come here unless I’m in the area, but if I’m close by, this definitely could be a go-​to salon.

an alright experience. the owner, Simon, is really kind and friendly and works to offer his customers a reasonable price. to be honest, the only thing that bothered me here was the fact that there was absolutely no one who knew how to draw up a good nail art design, and the one i had in mind wasn’t even complicated. it was simply an X and an O with a heart in the middle. the girl who attempted to draw it for me had no clue or idea what she was doing and got frustrated when i told her she didn’t put it in the right spot. whatever. overall, i’d think twice about coming here again.

Prices are Ok. Simon, the owner is nice, though I heard him .“sigh.” when he noticed my son’s toys were in his way. I attributede this to having a crazy day, as it was busy and understaffed that day. My problem is not with him, but with his team of non English speaking workers, who will laugh at you, as if it is your fault you cannot speak Spanish. My nail polish chipped from my manicure the first time, but I tried a second time, so lets see.
