Piccolo’s Pizza & Liquors

The pizza is good but not great. I just got 2 slices from here and took it to work so I can eat while I am on break. When I open my trunk, I see the bag filled with grease and put stains on my car. To make matters worse, as I finally sat down to eat my two plain slices, I take them out of the bag only to find at least a pint of grease. The amount of napkins that were used to reduce the grease was phenomenal that I would have been better off using a mop. Overall, I would classify this pizza as a go-​to-​place when I am in Paterson only if they don’t abuse too much on the grease. One thing for sure is that with all being said, I’d eat this pizza over the smaller pizzeria down the block any day.

This is one of my all time favorite pizza places. Ray is wonderful, and the pizza is out of this world. Don’t get fancy pizzas. Get a frigging cheese pie. Fold and drip. Deeeeeelicious.

Just wanted to update that Piccolo’s added a Cuban Mix Sandwich to its menu which I’ve recently fallen in love with. Very delicious and I totally recommend it!

I have tried this venue before and was satisfied because they deliver liquor (Sangria). My most recent experience however was HORRIBLE. I ordered 2 Jamaican Beef patties and a medium pizza (½ pepperoni and ½ italian sausage and pineapples).
Besides taking over and hour to get to me (I live 5 minutes away) the beef patties were burnt and the pineapples were the nasty canned mush kind that were just tossed on top. My order was also not worth the cost $ 28. Way more than Dominos.
Never again unless I’m just ordering liquor.
