I had to leave Brooklyn for 1 – 2 years so gave away most of my furniture but had a pile of boxes that had to go into storage somewhere. This is where I chose to store them. While an inconvenient location compared to Brooklyn, it didn’t matter to us since I didn’t need to go often to the site it worked out perfectly. This was by far the cheapest option we found in the region so over the two year period we probably spent under half what we would have spent nearby.
The storage is in an old silk factory, which is pretty cool. And our stuff was just the way we left it after two years. If you’re in the city and are looking for a cheap long-​term storage solution this is a good option.
