Lamppost Pizza

The best pizza in the world exists here. They toppings are unique, the sauce is delicious, and the crust is edible (unlike other places where it gets too stiff to eat). Sure if you want to try something new, go here.
I just wish their costumer service was more friendlier. I tried to have a pleasant conversation to see how the cashier was doing, he just charged me and walked away.

While driving through Patterson with my boyfriend, I decided to look through Unilocal at some good restaurants. This pizza spot has 4 stars and does not deserve it.
The first impression I had was, «Look how spacious and dead this place is. What is the theme with this place?» There is French writing on the walls but it conflicts with the motive of looking sporty. French people play a different kind of football! Then, while we were waiting for our pizza and fries, we looked through the arcade and boy was that depressing. It was just as depressing as the blood-​splattered looking walls. Blood-​slattered! Literally! Drab walls, torn carpet, and a paper saying «Play at your own risk.» Why would i play an arcade cabinet at my own risk? Do they know ots hazerdous and will short wire and electricute me?! The first table we sat had was next to the back door to the kitchen, which was open. A disgusting mildew bleach smell was coming out. We immediately had to relocate.
The first thing that arrived were the fries. They tasted bland and frozen. I understand most fries are frozen, but these still had the frozen taste in them! The were baked, salted, and some were burned. Then our pizza arrived. It looked good and a little greasy. There was virtually no sauce and and no fresh ingredients. The crust was crisp with a nice texture but bland. The service was equally disappointing. When I went to get a box for the mediocre pizza I wasn’t going to eat later, nobody was at the counter. I waited a good 30 seconds then sat back down then tried again minutes later.
Now you know the truth behind this 4 star pizza joint. It was horrendous and I would definitely not recommend it.

I really like that their place is spacious. The pizza and wings are great. I went in one time in the afternoon, and noticed they looked to be closing all of sudden. I was at the door waiting for an answer and they guy putting the tables away completely ignored me… O_​o. Haven’t been there in awhile, but hopefully when I go they’re are not «closing down» again in broad daylight.

I feel bad for not doing this sooner!
A month or so ago my friends ordered a a couple pizzas and I tagged along to pick up and help carry out. I love the huge amount of space here the staff is very friendly and I couldnt help but think it would be awesome to throw a kids party here (or adult) they have a good selection of beer and I totally dug the refreshing atmosphere. I noticed how clean it was in there and it gained a large star of approval :)
Im certainly coming back because lordy that was some very great pizza!
Flavorful and filling in a very satisfyingly full but not greasy way.
Im happy with everything, this place greatly deserves all the stars Im giving it, 5 lovely stars, cheers to you Lamppost!

Best pizza I have ever had, Great crust. had it after the tough mudder, beer choices are terrible, but the pizza is amazing

The food was super good and the owner was extremely nice and friendly. I work at the Grainger warehouse just down the road which is bad that I discovered this place because being just a 2 min drive I’ll be here a lot more now

Really good food overall, best pizza in town. The buffalo wings are amazing here, i definitely like the fact that hot sauce is offered with the wings :)

Considering this is one of only two places to deliver up the hill to DG, I’m tempted to add an extra star, but on pizza alone, I’d give a solid 3 stars. I’ve had a lot of pizza in my day, and this place is good for Patterson, but not above average in my humble opinion. The crust is generally dry and chewy and it’s not my preference, but overall it is a good pie. All of the appetizers are really good as well as the salads. I love calzones, but I’ve stop ordering them from here because they have been burned pretty badly the last two times I ordered one.

Driving from LA my kids decided they wanted pizza so I looked this place up and the reviews seemed decent. So we got off the 5 pulled up and the place looked good lots of people. Placed my order large pepperoni pizza for the fam husband ordered ravioli with pesto my daughter chicken strips. Everything came out and to my surprise the chicken strips and fries were burnt, and when I gave my son a slice of pizza there was a long brown hair strand in the pizza :-(completely ruined my meal!!!

HUGE restaurant with very few customers. The service was not very good:
First I am in a rather large dinning room with only ONE other table occupied. The staff thought it would be a good idea to stand right next to my table to have a 5 minute discussion. Ok, if the kitchen is too hot to talk I understand, but RIGHT NEXT TO MY TABLE?
Second, the place was kind of dirty. Maybe they had a mad rush of customers and they all left right before I got there? But instead of standing around, chit-​chatting by my table, why not START CLEANING?
The food, well I got alfredo with chicken. The pre-​made chicken was GROSS! I know, what did I expect? Well I expected this Italian Eatery would use good chicken (pre-​made or not). The sauce was non existent, which left the entire meal dry and without any flavor.
The décor is ugggggly! They do have video games, I guess if I was in a gaming mood or had my kids with me that would have been a plus!
I think next time I will go to Denny’s next door!

Super friendly atmosphere. The owners came to say hi. There are lots of tables, TVs, and the pizzas… Well I was happy with them. :) loaded with toppings! A great little place out in the middle of not much.
If you’re ever in the town that has a ridiculously large
distribution warehouse, and you feel like pizza, this is the place for you :)

Really good pizza, not to mention burgers, the Tiger Burger is enough for two ppl. Delicious homemade ranch dressing, huge salads. The chicken salad is large and excellent. My only criticism is that the pizzas are a little too pricey, so we go less often than we like.
Play area for children is nice, but air hockey table is a little old, and kids constantly beg for quarters. Still, the best pizza in town, nice thin, edible crusts. Yum.

Came here for a birthday party celebration.
— Plenty of space inside.
— small arcade room in the back.
— many customers.
— baseball game playing on several flat screens throughout.
So…I ate several slices of different pizzas. I have to say, the pizza is so good — hot, generous with the toppings, and tasted fresh. I had low expectations about this place, but I was wrong… big time!
I would come back here for pizza… no question. However, Patterson is hella far. I mean… why would anyone live way out here… smh.

This is my kind of pizza! Lots and lots of toppings but the crust stayed perfectly crisp. Our whole family loved it, and the kids had a great time in the game room.

My husband and I go to Lamppost Pizza about once a month, usually on Sunday afternoons. I love the salads! I’ve had the chicken and the Greek several times. We are watching what we eat and these salads fit the bill perfectly: light, delicious, and not too much dressing. Don’t get me wrong, they are large and filling! I’ve had to take half home for dinner at times. Pssst… they give MileagePlus rewards too!

Right when I walked in this place I heard the loud cheering an the sound of video games. I am like wow this place seems entertaining. I definitely had to play some games. The people that work here are really cool an friendly. They give you sorta a warm feeling. I ordered the all 7 chicken. It had avocados in it. Which caught my eyes because I’ve never had pizza w avocados in it. It was really good I loved the texture of the pizza. They also have a great beer selection

Not a lot to see or do in Patterson, so the Pizza joint seems the place to hang out here. Your basic chain restaurant. I thought the French sayings painted on the horribly faux painted walls (it will almost make you ill) was a bit weird in a pizza place.
But, this IS Patterson.. .
Food was generic, as was the service and the other clientele. Nobody got sick afterwards, so guess we did ok. Back on the road to other adventures.

I’d prefer to give a 4.5 but I’ll round up!
1) super friendly staff members.
2) You can tell it’s a ma/​pop place
3) pizza price are decent for what you get
4) not overly greasy, not overly chewy delicious pizza: the flavor combos mesh very well together
5) yummy and not overly garlicked cheesey garlic bread
6) clean and well managed pizza joint
7) right off of the freeway entrance
8) an extra large pizza with 2 small salads and an order of cheesey garlic bread was MORE than enough for 4 people.
overall… HELL YES this place is awesome.
I was also thoroughly entertained by the group of kids going after the ‘how hard can you punch’ arcade game. Talk about awesome free entertainment.
