Greg first got involved with polo at Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Wayne PA. Valley Forge competes in intercollegiate Polo throughout the U.S. Greg attended Valley Forge as a Cadet in preparation for the United States Air Force Academy. After graduating from USAFA, Greg returned to Wayne, PA and began playing Arena Polo. A few years later Greg founded an annual polo match in Washington, D.C. and upon returning home to NY founded Victory Cup®. Victory Cup® was an annual political fundraiser that Greg Ball held during his time in office. Now that Greg has returned to the private sector, Victory Cup® lives on as a private, for profit event and ‘The Best Party of the Summer®’. Previously held at Greenwich Polo Club, the event is now held in the gorgeous Hudson Valley on a working farm and features local, farm to table foods, beer and wine. Some polo events can be a tad pretentious, not this one. Greg has broken the mold and throws a polo match that everyone can enjoy. This event is all about meeting great people, respecting the sport, the horses and the players and having a great time! Come, relax and enjoy the best day of your life.
