The buffet was not bad at all. There aren’t many choices in Paul’s valley, and this place is not too bad. The food was hot and fresh. The service was lacking though. I would rate a little higher had the service been a little better.

This place looks just like any other Chinese buffet you’ve ever been too. But… The food is good and the place is clean. The staff was very friendly and smiling.

It’s okay food if you don’t have high standards in Chinese food. It’s clean, but every wall is a bright color and doesn’t look like it belongs in a restaurant. If you want Chinese food in Paulsvalley go to Chong wah!!!

Good variety of Asian cuisines. Sushi is California roll. Plenty of great food on buffet, friendly staff. CLEAN NOT properly marked on map… The buffet is usually fresh,(Chicken Teriyaki is often tough,) they DOHAVEMENUITEMS, but I’ve always enjoyed the Variety of the buffet. Soups are great, but eating buffet fare with chopsticks is best part of meal!

Food — 4 stars Selection — 3 stars Service — 3 stars Store Intangibles — 3 stars This is your typical little American Chinese place. The location is nice and the place is well kept. I opted for the takeout on this particular night but was observant of everything else going on in house. The buffet had about 3 different bars filled with all the standard fare. The most important thing in a buffet, other than perhaps selection… cleanliness. The employees made certain that they kept the buffet very clean. Spills and drippings were cleaned quickly and containers were kept mostly full and fresh. If I had had more time, I would’ve gladly enjoyed the buffet. Instead, I got some sweet and sour chicken to go. It came with pork fried rice and an eggroll. The food was very good and more than enough for a single meal. I have no complaints from this place at all and would gladly go back any time I wanted Chinese food in Paul’s Valley. I have to think that the other poster had a bad experience, and it’s no wonder why. She mentions in her own post that she got there at a time that was too late for lunch but too early for dinner. Of course a buffet is going to suffer in non-peak hours. The fried rice was actually quite good… it had a nice starchy quality that you usually find in white rice but rarely do in fried rice. Also had a healthy dose of peas and carrots, and an amazing amount of pork. More onions than I personally care for, but they are large and easily picked out. I would recommend at least trying this place if you like american style chinese.

This place was brand new right next to the Local Wal-Mart on a little strip mall… I got there a little late for lunch at 3:00pm. It took a second for the staff to sit me down– she was cleaning the floors. I went to the buffet and it looked doubtful at best. I stuck to the basics and sample a few dishes… ranged from spicy to sweet and sticky… the fried rice was terrible all dried up and hard, the sweet and sour was pure sugar… I don’t care to go back.
