Casey’s General Store 1590

I forgot my phone charger and my phone was dying so I took a chance and stopped here. I was in a small town where there is no real stores that I could see so this gas was at the center of town and it was all I had to work with. When I saw a gas station called Casey’s general store I thought this would probably be my only option and they had a phone charger for me.
This was obviously the only store in this small town because it had coolers with frozen pizzas and other limited food options for the basics. This must be the go to place given how small the town is.
I was surprised to see a pizza restaurant sign in the gas station window and thought it would be speedway style slices under heat lamps but it was a complete take out restaurant that makes fresh pizzas to order.
I also filled up and used the men’s room which was pretty clean for a gas station I must say. I also got some Coffey for the road to wake me up after 8 hours of traveling to continue on. This was like a mini version of a big truck stop and that worked for me.

3.5 for Casey’s General Store.
The town of Paw Paw is about a block long, with maybe 100 people living within the city limits. Regardless, they have a gas station, and I needed gas during my drive to my sister’s house — so I had to stop.
The gas was cheaper than I thought it would be, and the bathroom was surprisingly clean for a gas station. (Trust me, it’s not that I’m an expert or anything, but when you’re in the middle of Nowhere, IL, and no other prospects, you make due.)
Either way it’s a gas station. The kid working the counter was polite and even gave me a bag for my junk food gas station purchases, so I can’t complain.
