Community pizza place that treats its customers like family. Had a stray hr while running errands and stopped here for a dinnertime slice. Utterly LOVELY staff. Treated regulars and newbies with such gentle good humor and politeness that jaded old me was supremely impressed. My slice was fresh out of the oven, neither thin nor thick crust but completely satisfying. A well-poured glass of red wine rounded out the simple, perfect, meal. The only negative is the«Italian» salad dressing. It’s awful commercial fare, full of sugar. A simple house made oil and vinegar would be so welcome and in keeping with the otherwise decent fare. The walls here are covered with local pride: Stonington girls’ soccer, UConn Huskies’ finest, a friend’s son, resplendent in Coast Guard whites shaking hands with the President, and more, near and close, of whom to be proud. What a lovely little neighborhood restaurant. Lucky you, Pawcatuck.

Got the pizza from the Ledyard location, it was OK. A little greasy and I ordered the vegetarian pizza which was LOADED with too much vegetables on the pizza. Nice customer service through.

Went here yesterday for a quick meal and was pleasantly surprised. We had slices of pizza and a grinder, and both were good. I think Avanti’s in Mystic has better grinders, but I’d definitely come back here.

Very good family owned Greek pizzaria. The owner is a great guy, and they’ve got good pie for good prices. Would consider 4 stars, but ya gotta have great pizza arount here to earn that rating. Dough is a little to doughy, cheese and sauce a little too spare.

Quick and friendly service? Pizza was crisp and hot. Grinder was good also, substitute cabbage in place of lettuce was no problem. I always stop in for something to eat here when I’m in town visiting family.
