I’ve been playing at Elmridge for at least the last 10 years and have always enjoyed my rounds here. With multiple course options (3), I find that there’s never the same round twice… But always keeps you looking forward to playing there again. I have always found that the grounds crew staff works hard to keep the courses in the best condition possible. They aerate the greens several times a year, I have always seen them out on the course working on something. Sometimes the course conditions can be rough, but that can easily be attributed to dry or wet weather that the area is having.
Elmridge is and will continue to be my course of choice for a low key, fun and comfortable golf outing with family or friends.

If you write a review and say this course is in good condition, you are clueless and belong on the 18th clown hole at your local mini-​golf course. Rough is burnt. Greens are spongey and slow. Bunkers in disarray. Greens are punched and it isn’t even September. Play is slow. What a sad, sad excuse for a golf course. A $ 35 «special» on a Wednesday isn’t a special at all: it’s a rip off. Save your time. Save your money. Save your sanity. Shame on you,

I disagree with a recent Unilocal post! Elmridge is in great condition right now! Fairways and greens are well maintained! Greens have bounced back this year from a rough year last year, and are very playable! A fun course to play, three nine hole courses to choose from! Sure high end courses like Lake of Isles are available, but who wants to pay $ 200 to play there once, when for that much money you can play all weekend long!

I have played Elm Ridge every year for at least ten years. This year (2015) the course was in the worst shape I can recall.
If your ball is not in the fairway or just off the fairway, you ball is in a mess. Gravel, sticks, bare spots which should be marked as ground under repair.
I will not return here when there are better places to play than this mess! Pequot is in better shape than Elm Ridge.
The employees were courteous and helpful.

Course is in great pre-​winter conditions. Red course is closed for season but Blue and White were open.

Stonington, CT
Three nine holes makes for a good course for membership if you don’t want to spring for Stonington country club or lake of isle. Excellent staff and management. Struggled with greens like everyone in the region last season but have recovered well this year. All services inc proshop range and putting green.

Fun local course to play. Great afternoon rates with cart. Some fun holes. I’m a below average golfer and enjoyed myself out there, so if you are looking for a challenging course don’t bother playing here, but if you are a hack like me and want to enjoy your time without worrying about losing all your golf balls, then swing away!

I won’t rehash what others have said about the description.
It’s a middle of the road course — for me: one and done.
I played it once and do not need to go back.
Yes, the people who were working there were pleasant.
There was beverage cart service.
Some of the fairways and greens were a little rough.
A couple of quirky «throw away» holes.
I wasn’t made that we played there but don’t see myself going back.

University Heights, OH
Great staff and bang for your buck. It is made up of three 9 hole courses that they rotate to keep in good shape. The course is mainly par four with a few 3’s and 5’s thrown in for good measure. It is not particularly challenging, but it will let you work your skills.
So for $ 52, 18 holes with a cart, makes for a rather enjoyable afternoon.
Again, this is not a PGA course and it is not a highend course. It is a fun time out.

This was a really nice course with great staff and even nice golfers playing around us. You can’t beat the $ 20 fee to just play nine holes, which was perfect. Not a complete beginners course with just enough traps, dunes, hills, and curves to make it challenging. I would defintiely go here again.
