Had one of the breakfast specials yesterday — Corn Bread French Toast with fresh bananas in a Kahlua syrup. OMG! So good.

I am now in love with this place! I got the cinnamon almond french toast and my mom got the coconut french toast with their raspberry. All of it was delicious! Especially the home fries!!! We will definitely be back!!! Plus our waitress Amanda was sweet and extremely friendly. She was a delight :)

This is one of my favorite breakfast joints in the Westerly-Pawcatuck area. The location is great and there are plenty of great breakfast options to choose from. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive and the menu is reasonably priced. I definitely recommend checking it out(if you haven’t already).

We occasionally come to Mia’s for breakfast on the weekends and it is always a good call. The food is delicious and each plate that comes out of the kitchen is consistently well prepared. Highly recommend for weekend brunch!

OK, so let me qualify that this review has a few«pieces» to it. We have been here many times for breakfast. And stopped in for a «shopping break» as well. All the food has been good. Love the ambience and decorations, fun and eclectic, nice location and views of the river. We decided to try the dinners the other night. Out of the 3 dinners, none of them were good overall. There were portions of the same meal cooked differently, some well done and others just about raw(should not have been). Some of it hot, some not so much. The flavor was lacking as well. Had to get out the salt shaker but that wasn’t all of the issue. So we were disappointed. But we like the place and wanted to try the dinners and so are not sorry we did it. We’ll be back for breakfast, lunch, and shopping breaks for sure. :)

I can’t really give it more than three stars because despite being seated for 20 minutes I never even received the tea I ordered. In fairness the place was busy but there were 3 – 4 unbussed tables so we were seated at the most awkward table in the room adjacent to the coffee credenza. We asked to wait for a better table. The hostess was very nice about it, the waitress curtly told us we had to wait. No kidding miss, thanks for the news flash. We were fine with waiting until the additional commentary. As we helped move the settings and sat down all was well… for 10 minutes we chatted and looked at the menu. Finally we were asked what we would like to drink. Coffee, tea and milk were ordered. 10 minutes later and before our drinks were served the hostess asked up if we could move to another table because a six top was coming in… seriously? We were seated at a four top and tables were turning over left and right… the six top couldn’t wait a couple minutes? That was it for us, the food might be good but I’ll never know. We’ll be visiting the other great breakfast places in Westerly like we have been doing every Saturday post gym. Update 3÷1÷16 — I was graciously contacted by the owner within 4 hours of posting this review and believe my experience was the exception. If we do decide to try again I will certainly post my commentary on that experience. I am updating to 3 stars so as not to unfairly skew the cafes rating.

Absolutely delicious food. I ordered the country omelette and my boyfriend ordered eggs and bacon and toast, his only complaint was they burned his toast a tiny bit but other than that everything tastes great and it’s a great environment

I would’ve given 3.5 if you could do half stars but I decided on a 4 because I know it is capable of a 4! I love Mia’s it has been our go-to breakfast spot for years, but recently the service/quality has been lacking. It’s always busy, which is fine(and a good sign), it’s the 45min wait for breakfast once your order has been placed that I am not crazy about. Also the quality of the breakfast food is subpar – food has been cold on my last 3 visits, hashbrowns hardly cooked and unflavorful, pancakes were smaller and not as fluffy as they used to be. That being said, I have no complaints about the lunch menu – I got a wrap and it was amazing, portion size was great and price was good too(for breakfast and lunch). I just hope they can fix the recent issues!

So hadn’t been here since changed owners. We came for dinner first off kids got grilled cheese which was small and came with 10 fries they were still hungry which never happens usually there’s at least tons of fries left at other places. Our goat cheese salad was great but our dinner which was«hazelnut chicken with burbon cream sauce with risotto«would taste good if u were 90 yrs old lack of taste buds it was basically a chicken cutlet with creamy rice pilaf and a butter sauce or something thrown on it. I didn’t taste or see hardy any hazelnut either. Sorry but a HUGE disappointment. Also this portion was lacking as well in comparison to many other restaraunts in town. I won’t go back

Mia’s is the cutest! The service is quick, the food is quality, and there are healthy options. I ordered the egg white omelet with smoked salmon and had to opportunity to chat with Mia while my boyfriend and I were eating breakfast. Since we were on vacation, she gave us tons of tourist information and was overall a really friendly person. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Everything was awesome except the amount of time we waited for our food. They give a lot of food and it tastes home made. Staff was friendly.

I love Mia’s! Everything is homemade and delicious. I usually get the warm goat cheese salad, and my husband usually gets breakfast, since they serve breakfast until 3 pm and haven’t messed up a poach egg yet! Food tastes great, and wait staff is always nice, especially Amanda B. They are the only place in town that leaves a water bowl outside for dogs which is a plus and goes a long way for us as I am often walking the pup downtown westerly. Mia’s has a good vibe, always fresh flowers when you first walk in and a friendly atmosphere all around. Best to go during the week as weekends seem to take a bit longer for food to arrive.

I have driven past Mia’s numerous times and noted that it was pretty full around breakfast. So one morning when we were not previously committed we headed to downtown Pawcatuck and Mia’s. Good choice. Service was pleasant and the food was good if not memorable. I could understand why it was busy. My big gripe about breakfast joints around here, and this is not about Mia’s but as a class, is … Is there any originality out there? In the east my answer is NO!!! Most joints have some varieties of eggs Benedict. Good, but original? Locally Kitchen Little serves up some good varieties of scrambled eggs and, to me, Mia’s is up there with Kitchen Little but none of these places have something new, exciting and different. Then again this is not just a local problem. On the road the buffet is standard fare. Can’t get more boring than that. Where is anyone probing for«American palate acceptable» approaches from different cultures? Pascal’s in Santa Fe is one of the few places that comes to mind with some of its Central American approaches to breakfast. That’s probably why I think of it as among the best. Sorry for the diatribe. Mia’s is great… I’d put it in the top tier of my local breakfast joints.

I’ve been going to Prime Time on & off for over 10+ years because the food has been consistently awesome! I’m a simple man & if I find something I like then I usually tend to stick with it. My favorite breakfast here is definitely the boathouse. Two pancakes with scrambled egg, hash browns & bacon for me although you can chose your own combination. I always splurge for the«pure VT» maple syrup cuz I love the pure stuff so much more. Pancakes are always on point. Fluffy, flavorful & never soggy or stiff. Their hash browns are pretty crispy on the outside & melt on my tongue once I bite into them. For lunch I always go with their Monte Christo sandwich. My mouth is watering thinking of it as I type. I love it cooked on the griddle with the ham & melted cheese. It’s one of my favorite meals. How this place isn’t more popular is beyond me BUT they have an awesomely curated tap list! I don’t know how the word isn’t out but if you’re in RI& just cross the river you can find Lawson’s Sip of Sunshine, G-Bot & other great offerings from great CT craft breweries. Dean knows what he’s doing with the beer selection. Awesome food & a sneakily curated craft beer list should make this a destination for any foodie &/or craft beer lover!

My dad and I were here in town for business in the middle of winter, which this place is more of a summer town. I highly enjoyed this for a quick breakfast before leaving town. Not only was the server very helpful for my vegan diet but also an amazing server! I highly recommend this place!
