We also do NOT recommend using Mach’s for an event. The pizza that they churn out is very delicious, and the guests love it, but you as the event planner will not be able to enjoy it. Every bite will remind you of the horrible ordeal it took to get them there in the first place. We used Mach’s for our rehearsal dinner. They were very slow to get back to us, and did not pick up their phone ever. Once we made contact, we told them we planned for 100 people but may need to adjust to 70 depending on our RSVPs. They said that would be no problem. We let them know far ahead of time that it would only be 70 people. Even though I had email proof that they would, they refused to acknowledge that they would lower the price based on attendees. Her exact words to me were«we aren’t going to sit there counting paper plates», assuming that I was somehow trying to lie and get 30 free pizzas from them. NOT the case. They were unpleasant from start to finish, to the point that both my and my groom’s parents had to call them just to see what the big deal was. We all wanted to hire someone really relaxed and kind, to complement our special laid back Vermont weekend, but all we got was a bad attitude and a stressful situation. Having an outdoor pizza oven is a really cool thing to do for a event, and I wish that someone else in Vermont would start a company with similar farm fresh and local ingredients, but a nice personality. It would truly be a goldmine!

We DONOT recommend booking Mach’s for your events. 1. We attempted to contact Mach’s several months ago via phone, email for a wedding reception. We received no reply. 2. We booked a different mobile wood fired pizza. Unfortunately, one of the operators became gravely ill and had to cancel. 3. We attempted to contact Mach’s again based on a co-workers recommendation. We received a detailed email and responded that we were interested and requested a quote. 4. A quote came several days later, to which we replied, asking where we can send a deposit. 5. Silence for several weeks. 6. We received a hasty email from Mach’s asking if we were still interested in booking them as they had«another inquiry» for our date. 7. We immediately called and spoke. They were in the middle of something and we were told that«email works best.» 8. We sent another email asking where we can send the deposit. We called again, no answer. We never heard from them again. Not only did Mach’s disappoint us, but they disappointed about thirty guests who were looking forward to Mach’s offerings — several of them visiting Vermont for the first time from Dallas, Florida and South Carolina. They left us hanging — not even so much as a call or email to tell us they couldn’t cater our event. This reflects badly on Mach’s, but also on Vermont. Stay away!
