Starting with our sales consultant was the most pleasant and informative sales person that I have ever dealt with. He described ever feature of the vehicle that I was looking at and was very eager to help us find the right model with the options we wanted. Then the manager worked out a deal that I couldn’t pass by. Excellent service by the team at Ingersoll.

The service I have received at this dealership from the time I purchased my car there, to every time I have gone in for service has been exceptional. They accommodate my need for weekend service appointments and they contact you immediately upon the completion of service. They answer questions thoughtfully, and the service is always friendly. Nice waiting room accommodations too! Go to the little breakfast place across the street while you wait, it’s delicious!

I just purchased a CPO 2012 Equinox, 3 days ago. From beginning to end the process was fantastic. Special thanks to Nellie but especially Brian. From beginning to end there was absolutely no pressure. I did my research on 3 vehicles and narrowed it down to 1 prior to coming in. Test drove, finished up paperwork and we were out within 2 ½ hours, which from previous car buying experiences was great. I went in there with a specific payment in mind and received exactly what we needed. Not a fan of extended warranties because I have been burned in the past, so I already knew my answers to the finance guy. But I must say he was not pushy but very professional and informative. I will see how my first service appointment and if any subsequent issues come up, how Ingersoll handles it. But overall, the vehicle is fantastic and I look forward to purchasing another vehicle in the future from them for my wife.

The only reason why I came to buy my truck here, was my relationship with Pete M. and his team. I called ahead to talk with Pete, and I explained that I wanted to come in that morning, and wanted to buy a truck. I didn’t want the run around, so he suggested that I stop to see him first. This way he could make the connections I was looking for. Pete introduced me to Torrey, who took over and started to show me the High Country. Torrey then introduced me to Libby to help me better understand the trucks. Libby by far knows here trucks and how every item works, I was not able to stump her. I meet with many sales assistants in my time, and Libby stands out. Thanks to Libby and Torrey, I did the deal within hours, and now enjoy my new truck. Of course my servicing will be handle by Pete, Rob, John, and Bill.

Purchased a vehicle from here at the end of January. Libby in sales was great, worked hard for us to get us to a monthly payment we could afford and be happy with. Shortly after purchasing I contacted Peter in the service department about a concern with the vehicle, Peter worked with me on the issue and after picking up the vehicle over the weekend he blew me away with the customer service he provided me, went above and beyond my expectations. I am without a doubt a loyal customer of this dealership now because of Peter and the service department even though they are a longer drive for me than the other Ingersoll dealership in Danbury.

Just went to look into trading up my wife’s vehicle at another dealer and to my surprise the car was in a accident before we owned it and we never knew about so, back then at the time of sale when we asked the salesmen Alan (who no longer works there) for a carfax he said its a clean car and had clean paperwork, another run on the VIN found otherwise, So before I go the unfriendly route I’d like to see if this can be resolved internally, I’m already on edge since we’ve already had over 6 repairs on the Equinox, what keeps me cool is M& S and Ingersoll did right by us, on the sales side its a different story we tried to once trade in the car but that was a dead end in fact im still waiting for a call back and that was over 5 months ago, they did a credit check and showed us other cars we can get into but haven’t heard back since,
I’ll update the world and see how it all goes.

When it was M&S the manager was arrogant and argumentative,
I drove an hour to buy a HHR they advertised on their website — only to be ignored, forgotten, and insulted by the manager while there.
The sale man was a typical used car sales man — pushy & just being a jerk, (who would only speak directly to me, totally ignoring my wife, as if she was even there)
When I asked for a better price on the HHR, the sale man «had to speak to his manager» — typical BS line…
The manager seemed personally insulted and became abusive because i asked for a better price on the car (I was paying cash) and It was priced over kelly Blue Book Value for its age and milage… but it was a nice car.
Needless to say –I left there without buying the car, which was probably a good thing, because I found a better deal and a better car at ANOTHER used car dealer.

Since Ingersoll bought out M&S the service here has gone down hill. Took three hours for oil change and tires. My service Advisor Bill was very good though and I don’t believe he was at fault. Last visit with my wife’s car it took 2 days without a loaner car. Had to constantly call to get updates. Time to find a new place for service!
