I first came across Mike’s art at the Quahog and Art Festival in Warren last summer. I immediately fell in love with his bright, cheerful, and beautiful paintings. Today I was at the farmers market and stumbled upon his studio. I was so happy I did. Walking into the studio is like walking into summer in Rhode Island. Beautiful and very reasonably priced paintings everywhere, in all different sizes. I bought a little Narragansett mermaid painting, and until next time I’ll be dreaming about the Del’s Lemonade painting that makes me so happy every time I see it. Next time! Go check out Mike’s studio. He is a very nice guy with really great talent. I just want to fill my home with all of his paintings!

Beautiful works and an extremely nice and pleasant man. We bought a piece of his at the outdoor art market and he was such a great guy and gave us an amazing deal on a large painting. When we need more, I will be right there to buy more of his pieces.

A smile always comes to my face when I see the Studio door open and the bright colors spilling into the hallway on Saturday Winter Farmer’s Market days. I love peeking in to see what is new or what favorite pieces remain. I bought. a painting from Mike Bryce at the Wickford Art Festival about 4 years ago. It was my first original art purchase ever and my first major purchase for my new condo. It is sunflowers(my favorite) and continues to make me smile when I pass it hanging in my dining room. Mike is an unassuming artist. He accepts compliments with a blush and offers beautiful landscapes of RI, as well as mermaid fantasy. The lobby of the Providence Marriott has 3LARGERI landscape-mashups that I am completely in love with. His pieces are affordable too, which is a bonus. I enjoy buying from people that I genuinely like. Mike is definitely one of those pieces. If I ever move away from Providence, one of his square Waterfire paintings will be coming with me.

Mike Bryce captures the spirit of Rhode Island. Yes, the topics of his painting are generally designed to sell as souvenirs, and they’re not really individual — he copies the same design many times. However, they’re attractive, reasonably priced, and it’s always nice to have a hand-crafted piece. His glowing oranges and yellows create a sense of warmth and light, infused with his own distinct style. Plus — he does mermaids. It’s really hard to not love anyone who paints mermaids! I saw his booth at the Festival Fête crafts show in Providence, and the mermaids were what drew me in. My one complaint — no way to order online from the website.
