I was looking for a nearby liquor store and hoping to get some imported wine so I decided to try out Countryside Liquors. Definitely not the place for a wide selection of imported wines, so I went to the beer cooler to see what I could find and they have a good selection there with regional beers like Harpoon and Magic Hat and more local and specialty selections. I was going to go with some cans of Foolproof but found they had a big bottle of the Farmhouse Ale, which I went with and liked. Customer service was friendly and quick.

I felt like I walked into a hostage situation when I came here. One stoned guy behind the counter, two other guys standing at acute angles in different aisles. They all abruptly stopped talking when I came in and remained silent for nearly my entire visit. I was only popping in after a PawSox game to pick some beer, not expecting much. They’ve dedicated some serious cooler space to craft beers, though, so that brightened my night better than Ryan Lavarnway ever could. All in all, above average.

An outstanding neighborhood packy store. Lots of top shelf stuff. Really good bourbons, tequilas, and scotch whiskys that are normally not available without a long drive. They have Platte Valley corn whiskey, Patron, microbrews, and some of my other favorites. If you dont see it, ask because they are happy to order it. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The store is clean, well lit, and best of all, it’s two feet from the best pizza in the state. Go to Ron’s Pizza Palace, order up a couple of pies and then go here to get your brews. Perfect combo.
