This place is the BESTBREAKFAST in town!!! It’s great portions, delicious coffee… The best cuts of ham oh my God you want never leave hungry!!! My favorites are the omelets and pancakes are huge! I tried a few different places but the children and I always wished we went to Shannons because we either left hungry or disappointed! Never ever left Shannons disappointed or hungry been going there for years !!! Love them!!!

1. Food was awesome. Even the way the food is presented has a great aesthetic. Beautiful tight little plate with carefully placed items for a maximum appetizing look. 2. the place was PACKED. Everyone knows each other. It seemed like a meeting of best friends. When we were there, there was maybe 1 place left to sit. 3. The waitress is SUPERWOMAN. What a sweetheart. She knows every single person by name and is asking about how their kids are. She’s managing every table in the house, pouring coffee refills, getting peoples drinks, and manning the bar seating too with a gorgeous smile on her face. I couldn’t believe how she kept all those plates spinning and keeping a packed house of people happy. Will return… often.

Very good breakfast place. Great price for value. Only complaints were one time at around 1pm they said they were closed when sign said breakfast all day. And it tasted like sour cream was on the fruit topped french toast. Also, they charged me more for the items I ordered than what it said on the menu. I didnt really mind though because the price was still good. It gets really busy there. Overall great food though

Very good friendly atmosphere! A little long of a wait for to go order. But it was worth it.

Well, the first thing i noticed was how clean it was! It’s very deceiving from the outside as to the size. It seems small, but when you enter you see it’s actually a great size. Your first welcomed then seated by a very nice, positive, smiling waitress! Once your order is in what comes out is delishes! I ordered 3 eggs scrambled, bacon, home fries n an english muffin, grilled. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon perfectly done, the home fries had a flavor all its own n was crispy n still soft inside! And the grilled English was done to perfection! And of course i had coffee which was also delishes. This is my breakfast of choice wherever i go, an after going to Shannons, will be the only place i go to order it! It was perfection in taste, price, amount of food, atmosphere and most of all the staff made me feel like i was at home! Loved it!

My dad and I were on our way to breakfast this morning to go somewhere else and on the way we passed by Shannon’s. He said let’s go here instead I haven’t been in years. I was a little skeptical at first, but we went in. The service was great we were greeted right away and placed our order right away as well. The staff was so friendly and everyone seemed to be regulars as they were calling customers by name. Our waitress had multiple tables but was still quick to check on us and refill coffee. We both got omelets which were a really decent size and one pancake to share which was huge! The prices were also VERY reasonable! I usually go to providence for breakfast, considering I don’t like many of the local places in Pawtucket, but this will definitely be my new favorite!

If you’re looking for a quick, inexpensive hot breakfast, this is your place! Love this hole in the wall joint … 2 eggs, home fries, toast and(unlimited) coffee for $ 3.25 … You just can’t beat that! Breakfast was great… And home fries were especially tasty! Shannon was there the first time I ate here and she was waitressing herself. Very friendly, very fast service. Have been there twice and planning on visiting again soon!

I moved to Central Falls recently and I am always on the lookout for a great diner. This place is right on the RI-MA border and the small store front is easy to miss. But the waitress told me they have been here for years. I visited on Sunday and almost every seat was filled. The place is clean and waitresses could not have been nicer. I love corned beef has and their version is excellent. My breakfast of 2 eggs, hash, home fries, goats and coffee was $ 6.75. I’ll be back often!

Was recommended to eat here for breakfast while my vehicle was being repaired at a nearby shop. What a hidden gem! The restaurant is on the smallish side with about a dozen tables and a eat at bar. But the size certainly didn’t matter here! Cash Only!(There is an ATM on site that charges a 2.50 fee) Our server was quick and friendly. She was very busy, and still took the time to make sure we were satisfied. And the food? Outstanding! The homefries? Probably the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten my share of potatoes in my days. My bacon was actually crispy.. I can’t commend the cook enough for actually crisping that bacon.. There is nothing worse than ordering well done bacon and getting wilted, soggy, floppy and uncooked bacon. So, thank you for getting my bacon perfect! My eggs were properly cooked to order. The prices are extremely reasonable. You’d pay at least twice more at any chain restaurant(IHOP/Dennys). A+

I had high hopes for this place. There was always a line to get in. So, I had the hopes for good service and good food. What I experienced today was slow delivery of food and slow service. I had to ask for water twice. It got to the point where I thought they ran out of glasses to serve the water in. The food seemed to be cooked one order at a time. The atmosphere, well it is summer, I would have expected the AC to be on. Alas, I guess that is to much to ask for. I left overheated and soaked! Given the slow service and food, this is not a place to bring little kids. They will not be able to tolerate the wait or the heat. There is a new place just down the street that looks promising. I would pass Shannon’s by and try them out.

The locals talk about this place and only have good things to say. Late this morning we decided to do the walk and find it. It is on the corner of Benefit and Broadway and looks like a hole in the wall. Nice counter and about a dozen tables. The customers are from suits to blue collar. I got a lesson on heating during my breakfast from the next table. The loss leader on the menu is home fries, two eggs and coffee for three bucks. The home fries are easily within the top 5 I have ever had and there were plenty. The coffee is good as well. The service was top notch and the place had a few newspapers floating around. There are two tv’s above the counter. A must visit when in the area. on a side note, the bus for the Emerald Square Mall leaves from across the street to the left.

I don’t know how anyone could have a problem with this place. It’s a great place to get breakfast cheap. Me, my girlfriend and her brother went last weekend, for only 23 bucks we got three coffees(endless refill), four orange juices, and an INSANE amount of food. I wish the parking situation was better and the restaurant was a little bigger, but those are minor inconveniences, and not enough of a problem to take away a star They even have a breakfast deal where you get two eggs, home fries, toast and coffee for about two and half bucks. add a dollar or two, you can have with hash or ham, or sausage, or bacon(etc.) for $ 6.50, you can get a steak with it… Truthfully, it’s not the best steak, it’s definitely made from a cheap cut and it’s pretty thin, but if you get it cooked no more than medium, and cut off all the gristle and fat, you will enjoy it… It’s the best steak you’ll ever have for such a low price, I’ll put it that way The waitresses are all very friendly and hardworking, they bring your food out very quickly, and do their best to make sure everyone in the place has everything they need(even when the place is packed, and there’s only one waitress working).

YUK! that is all I can say, The sausage that was served was mystery meat, the french toast I could have made. My husband and I went there when our regular place was closed and wished we hadn’t. He was sick the rest of the day. Our first tip off should have been when the woman that was already there stayed in the bathroom(which you are basically on top of) for a good 10 minutes. My advice STAYAWAY

What a undiscovered gem, I love breakfast food perhaps more than life itself but cheap and good? Oh yes baby, take my soul! Great menu, all the staples of diner food, breakfast and lunch. Prices are low and the staff was friendly(Shannon herself perhaps?) Keep the coffee coming because I’ll be back very soon. 3 omelets(sausage, bacon, mushroom accordingly), with coffee, homefries, toast, $ 20YUM! Downside: Very little parking, go very early or very late in the morning CASHONLY

This is the best and cheapest breakfast you could ever ask for. The waffles are good, the french toast is good. You can get a breakfast for less than $ 5, and it’s filling! The homefries are delicious, and I like that they ask if you want onions in them or not(I hate onions). It’s a little hard to find this place, but it is worth seeking out.
