have been using this small dry cleaner for over 2 years, but this week was a nightmare and will never go back. brought 2 shirts in monday morning told them I absolutely needed them by late tuesday afternoon for a VIP function. Arrive tuesday at 5 pm to pick them up, nowhere to be found, had staff call the owner, could not find them, despite my having told the staff how important it was to have the next day. Shirts finally arrived thursday, told the owner dont make false promises, if you cant do it tell the customer. Owners response well I was not here, well whose fault is it. I wont be back

Prices are super reasonable, service has always been so fast and superb friendly.
I’ve had about 6 pairs of pants altered with perfect results!

I wanted to like this place, thinking I had found a diamond in the rough.
I brought a bridesmaid dress in on a Saturday and was told it would be ready in a week. I gave them a few extra days, just in case, and went to pick it up.
Not only had my dress not been touched, they couldn’t find it!
It was out of my way to go here, but neither the clerk nor the owner wanted my business enough to make an effort to correct the situation. I took my dress and walked.

I made a mistake by saying their other location is in Mansfield MA, it’s actually in Norton, MA. On rte. 123

Irine Mischko does not work for Top Notch Tailors! The owner of this company, Teddy Chabo, used her photo’s in his advertisement for his business. She did not give her consent. She worked for him, 8÷26÷2014−9÷15÷2014, and does not work for him, in any capacity, at either store. If he is telling you that she did your tailoring, then he is not being honest! Top Notch is a BAD PLACE, the guy is a total jerk! He doesn’t even know anything about tailoring and that is why SHE LEFT!!! I should know because she is in this photo and my fiancé!!!

Bought some new shorts, but their length went to my knees

Another pair fit great, just a little tight in the waist
Took both to Top Notch, they said it would only take 2 days
They did a perfect job, they look better than new!
Hemmed them right where I wanted, fits well too
Only $ 7 total, so I gave them a few more to do
Great, unassuming shop; not just 1 tailor but two
Came back Monday, thought my items would be finished
I came a little too early, they said no worries, just wait 15 minutes
Not a euphemism, they immediately started to sew
I patiently waited, staring at the rows and rows of clothes
Only 10 minutes passed, and my shorts were perfect
$ 7 again, I should have tipped, they deserved it
I highly recommend them; I’m sure I’ll be back another day
because the Tailor was so Swift, they would make Kanye rave

This tailor and dry cleaner is everything a small business should be. I have been visiting Ronja at Top Notch since moving to Providence 3 years ago. It wasn’t long before she greeted me on a first name basis and even remembered my phone number! She and Christina (tailor) have gone to great lengths to accommodate every crazy schedule need I’ve come in the shop with– be it work travel, personal travel or an upcoming event. I’ve brought everything from $ 15 summer dresses to $ 200 suit jackets here and have been completely satisfied with the work every time! I even brought a great pair of tall suede boots in last year for a cleaning (they were the kind of boots I would have bought all over again if I could have found them). Well, I didn’t need to because they were virtually brand new when I picked them up after the cleaning. The prices are more than reasonable and service is second to none. As the previous reviewer mentioned, unlike other tailors, they’re not looking to just cash in– they will tell you if work is not needed and will offer suggestions to ensure all items are expertly finished. Quick story to prove this– I recently brought in a bridesmaid dress purchased at David’s bridal (sale price of the dress at a 50% reduction was $ 100). «DB» wanted to charge me $ 120 for «complicated» tailoring, claiming they basically had to disassemble the dress. I was not down with paying more than the cost of the dress for tailoring of an item I’d only wear once. Top Notch to the rescue. Ronja and Christina offered a workaround to give the same look at a much lower cost. They executed it perfectly and ahead of schedule! From adding darts, to retaining natural hems on jeans– from a warm greeting to the assurance that your garments will be cared for and ready when promised– you will not find a better tailor or dry cleaner. As a Rhode Islander, I understand that anything greater than a 15 minute ride is considered a weekend trip; however, I would literally travel from South County to keep bringing my clothing here– for both the work and the incredible service. Wishing Ronja and her team many years of continued success!

I’ve been to this place multiple times. Service is super friendly and they won’t try to rip you off… if you need the tailoring they’ll tell you, and if you don’t they’ll tell you that too. Their prices are also unbeatable too. Definitely give them a visit if you need tailoring or dry cleaning!
