RUN, DO NOT WALK!!!
Typical hype when he wants you to buy but disappears when it comes to warranty issues. Bought a set of replacement windows several years ago. When I had a problem Phil told me that the manufacturer went out of business, so I was SOL! Never mind that he gave me his «personal guarantee» that he would give them a LIFETIME warranty, above and beyond the 25 year guarantee that the manufacturer provided (not in WRITING, of course…).
The state of Connecticut requires their contractors to pay into a fund that can be used to help pay customers that get screwed by unscrupulous individuals, however, when I had my lawyer look into his business, it turns out he WASN’T EVEN LICENSED TO DO BUSINESS IN CONNECTICUT!!! So of course, he didn’t pay into the fund and I am screwed!!!
So now, five years out, if I want energy efficient windows, I will have to get a real contractor to install them and then pay for them all over again!
Do yourself a favor and don’t even let them in your house!!!
Find a reputable company using an established window manufacturer
