I had the smallest chewiest thinnest(1⁄8 to ¼″)thick maybe burned chicken fried steak in the world, terrible hash browns, someone needs to learn how to cook. What happened to the knotty pine. 20 years eating here and recommending people to eat here on the way thru. Not any longer. Hard to believe

The Pinyon Café is fantastic. The service is fast and friendly. The food is homemade and delicious. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. It included country potatoes eggs and biscuits and gravy. The chicken fried steak was freshly breaded. My eggs were basted perfectly with not a drop of grease in sight. The biscuits were nice and fluffy with flavorful country gravy. My family loved all their food as well. My oldest said the pancakes were the best he’s had. My kids both loved the hot chocolate. The café is an authentic café with a bar full of stools and comfy booths. Regulars gather to socialize and drink coffee. Red gingham curtains top the big windows. I feel like I’m back at the Becky-Ann Café in Paul, Idaho.
