Five star place. Five star people own the place. Good looking kid running the register. Everything you need in a convenient location. Plenty of parking. Great city, lots of cool pubs and restaurants nearby. I will be coming again!

Mediocre beer and liquor selection. Has most of the basics and big names, little else. They have a few craft 6-packs and 4-packs for $ 10 or more, but almost nothing but Sam Adams and Budmillcoors in 12 packs or larger.

A&L Liquors is a fabulous example of a typical neighborhood«packy.» The thing people I know like about it the most is that most of the people working there have been there a LONG time and they really treat the locals with great dignity and respect. Plus, that makes them very knowledgeable about the product and able to help you, whether as a gift, or for yourself, pick out that«perfect wine.» They’ve got a huge assortment of all the cool vodkas and, even get the«cool» stuff in as it comes out — like Dan Akryoyd’s «Crystal Skull Vodka», for example. And, if you drink Cristal, or Blue Label, they’ve got the good stuff available for ya, too. Like most liquor stores, they carry a couple of cigars ranging covering the quality from low-to-high. They’ve got snacks up the wazoo, including cherry peppers and jerky. And, if you’re pretty broke that week, they’ve got a wide assortment of cool shots and nips on sale so you can sip and savor your way to your next paycheck. ;) Parking is adequate; neighborhood is safe(there’s a bowling ally for families and kids across the way). If you need to find that right alcohol, or wine, either for yourself, or a friend, stop into A&L and someone friendly will get you set up with just the perfect bottle. ;)
