Have been here multiple times. The food is 5 start quality, as it should be for the price. It is essentially the capital grille of the North Shore. Had the filet, which is always the go to for me to judge a steakhouse, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Will be back anytime I don’t want to go to a steakhouse in town.

I went here with my now husband, just a couple of weeks before our wedding. We went fairly early, about quarter to 5 on a Sunday. We didn’t have reservations but we were promptly seated, they appeared to be quite accommodating. I loved the ambience, low lighting, romantic table for two(booth fashion). I thought«Wow, I am already liking this place.» Our original server seemed really great, but was then replaced by a younger gentleman, whom also seemed nice. So we started off with the chilled shellfish platter, it came with lobster meat, oysters, clams, and jumbo shrimp, presentation was very nice and I enjoyed the oysters the best. I was mildly disappointed that there was only the claw piece for the lobster meat, I would have sworn the server said it was the tail, it was delish just the same. For our entrees my husband opted for the ribeye(a la carte), I got the filet Oscar, which is one of their dinners, it came with lobster meat, bearnaise sauce, asparagus, and tomato. When it arrived I notice it was«bone in,» they do have a bone in filet as an option so I thought they had given me that instead(yahoo!!!), I cut directly down the center only to realize that it was bone in pork… ummmm ok… The server came to check on us and I informed him that I ordered the filet, he said that I ordered the«veal chop,» but quickly made amends and even offered to redo my husbands ribeye so they would come out at the same time. He decided to just keep his steak, he was hungry and I didn’t mind one bit. The disturbing part of it all. Even if he thought I order the veal chop… it WASN’T VEAL… it was pork!!! If it’s white, smells like pork, and looks like pork… quess what? It’s pork. Now now… that could have been the chef’s error, they do offer pork on the menu, still off putting with the mishaps none the less. I will own up to my mistakes but I know for a fact I ordered the filet. Anyways… when it finally arrived it was cooked perfectly! I had the sauce on the side and it was on point! Super tasty. My husband did not share the same feelings with his meal. His steak was not cooked properly, the ends of the steak were medium, like well done medium, while close to the bone it was almost raw, unacceptable. Also the outside of the steak had a hell of a char! Like borderline burnt. Everyone likes a nice sear on their steak, this was overkill. We have such awful luck at steak houses lol!!! It’s either he or I that ends up with a not so great steak… fortunately for me I really liked mine! Sorry hunnie! Overall, with this being a higher end steak house, it was not worth the money for me. p. s. They added the«veal chop» to the bill which had to be corrected…64 bucks for pork lol… when I ordered the filet, yet another no no.(insert laughing cry face!)

The service and the steak never disappoint! This is by far the best steak place north of Boston. I’ve been to almost every major steakhouse in the city and this is on par with all of them. When you walk through those doors, you don’t feel like you’re in peabody anymore but in a swanky Boston restaurant. It is very pricey, but the quality of the meat and wine selection is absolutely worth it!

Good steaks, yes, nice décor, yes. Treatment of patrons leaves a lot to be desired. They ask patrons to move to other seats to place what they may feel a better fit at the bar? Deplorable. Unfortunately this type of(dis) service won’t serve them well.
