Poodles N’ Pals Stylist

I have 2 11 y.o. miniature thoroughbred red poodles. I have groomed them myself since they were 8 weeks old. (My Dad used to breed poodles so he learned & taught me how to groom.) For the first time in my dog’s lives & mine I decided to let someone else groom them due to my busy schedule.
After meeting and talking with Tara I was quickly convinced that she knew her stuff. She is second generation owner of this shop and has been grooming longer than me. I described what I wanted and how I style the dogs. Her skills are spectacular. She’s gentle and loving. My dogs run to see her, jump into her arms and cuddle when they see her. She always accommodates my schedule and always does an impeccable job. We’ve been with her over 2 years.
The only issue I have, not in their control, is the traffic going and coming to Tremont st in Peabody. Horribly congested area. Plan ahead.

My dog has been going to Poodles N’ Pals for years and he loves it there. He had had a number of not so great experiences at other places, but then we found Tara at P n P. He pulls me in the door to get his grooming. I don’t have a regular schedule, but all requests for an appointments have been accommodated. Tara and her team of animal groomers have taken care of all his special needs including allergy issues and he comes out happy and clean.

I would like to give this place no stars. I made an appointment at 930 and they gave me a lower price than most places. Now I know why. I told them I had a 55 lb boxer. No surprise that he is energetic. He is not aggressive towards other dogs just gets excited to see them. Little did I know this 200 sq ft storage space has 10 kennels all filled with dogs. If you don’t take big energetic breeds just SAY SO. She took off his collar and expected me to chase him down while he is still looking at every dog. How would I grab my huge dog with not even a collar on?! Her yelling at my dog was not helpful in any sort. Will stick to day of the dog in Salem since they loved him. If you have a 4 lb dog feel free to come here! Apparently they can babysit for hours.

How can this place not have any reviews? I love it here. The owner (I forget her name sorry!) always calls back when I leave a late-​night message saying we need an appointment! She’s always flexible and our Am Staff always comes back happy and looking and smelling great! The prices are very reasonable. Keep up the great work!
