Dr. Shanthala and her staff are amazing! I had a great experience with my Coolsculpting treatment here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for this procedure. Dr. Shanthala made special arrangements to treat me on her day off as I was moving out of the area. She and her staff were there they whole time checking on me, making me comfortable and ensuring perfectionism during the treatment. The treatment itself took half the time it may have at other locations due to the dual suctions. There was discomfort which I was educated about throughout the entire process and this was minimized as much as possible. Dr. Shanthala and her staff continued to follow-​up with me to track my progress in the weeks following. They truly care about you as a patient and about making you happy with your results. I am really excited and feel fortunate I found them and made the choice to work with them. I did a lot of research prior to making the commitment to this procedure and do not believe I could have been treated better anywhere else. This is truly a professional organization that puts a lot of work and care into what they do!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shanthala, she is amazing. I have had several treatments with her but this review is specifically touting her expertise with Botox. A few years ago I decided I wanted to try some botox, my kids had been asking me «why are you making a mad face mommy?» — I realized I was getting some serious lines between my eyebrows. I went to a local RN and initially though she had a done a good job until I realized that my eyebrows were completely spread apart, and my entire forehead frozen, I didn’t even look like myself, it was terrible. I also had a lot of bruising which at the time, not knowing any better, I thought was normal. Flash forward a year and to a visit to Shanthala for microdermabrasion and she suggested I try botox again. She explained her method and promised I would not have that same frozen look. Shanthala suggests that botox should be done more frequently but with less amounts (units) than others use. The other thing she does is she administers the botox in far more locations, smaller amounts but spread out more. She also noticed a vein down the middle of my forehead and was sure to avoid it to prevent bruising. I can’t tell you how many people I now notice that have had horrible botox treatments. It is so distracting while having a conversation! With Shanthala’s skilled hand my wrinkles are gone, my face looks relaxed and smooth, and I look like a better version of myself. She is a genius!

Shanthala is awesome! Not only is she an MD but she is caring and gracious. She makes sure that you understand all treatment options and recommends what is best for you. I initially went to one of the franchises and it was very sales oriented with junior staff as the primary people you interact with. You will have the totally opposite experience with Shanthala AND the treatments really work! She cares from the minute you walk into her medspa, throughout the entire treatment and after. It amazes me that she has such fantastic bedside manner, as I have not experienced that very often with many doctors. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else!

My mom has always said, «you get what you pay for.» So if you’re looking for a cheap and quick fix, then keep looking. When it comes to my health and beauty régime, I’ve done my research, and Dr. Shanthala is well worth the price to pay. Well versed in her practice and being completely in tune to my needs, you are sure to step into the hands of someone who listens and honestly recommends according to your current needs. I’ve felt every purchase of treatment I’ve made, well worth the time and price with Shanthala; she will not sell you on something you don’t need. This is not a medspa factory, and you are not a medical record number. Consider yourself a lifetime investment, because that is what Shanthala is about; you will not find a more individualized, passionate, and approachable Doctor around.

I am writing this review for all the men that do not believe that aging and skin care is as important as watching football or hanging in the man cave. Dr, Shanthala has been helping me with acne scars and aging skin with sun damage, she has also performed two cool sculpting procedures. It is are to find someone as genuinely honest with the focus on trying to grow her business with satisfied patients with sacrificing cost. I am amazed at how comfortable i was made to feel by her form the moment I walked in, she is a true testament to how business should be done in this day in age. I think people loose sight of the fact that it is about building relationships not always about getting the most money out of your patients. Many others in this field should take a good look at her business model in due time it she will become very successful and deservedly so.

Dr Shanthala has done my Botox, CoolSculpting and microdermabrasion! I absolutely love her! She is so sweet and it is clear how much she cares about her patients and providing the best outcome possible. Her office is gorgeous and she does everything she can to make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend going to see her!

Visiting Shanthala in Peabody is absolutely the best thing I have done for my self in years. I have tried several medspa type businesses in the past. They were all good, but often they did not stay on top of the latest, safest and best procedures. None of these medspas had the expertise of Shanthala. They also were more about volume of clients, where Shanthala is all about doing what is best, for you, her most important client of the moment. You feel this attitude. Her approach and consultation are also comfortable for the client, honest detailed information, no high pressure tactics. She is constantly training and attending conferences and classes. She in compassionate, highly intelligent, has a wonderful bedside manner, and a great sense of humor. She holds herself to the highest standards. The environment is meticulous, and so inviting. She is informative, affable and professional. My skin looks great and I had a wonderful time visiting her office. I had a micro needling procedure. A week later my skin looks so beautiful. I have already called to book another appointment. I live closer to Boston, but the skills, service and experience of visiting Shanthala are better, than those offered in areas more convenient to my home.
Oh, I also stopped for an amazing crêpe at New Art of Gelato, after my visit to Shanthala. What a perfect day. This gelato and crêpe place is less than 5 minutes from Shanthala, and the food was delicious. I had a spinach tomato and goat cheese crêpe, and freshly made blueberry gelato. My trip to Peabody was completely worth the drive. I also had very little traffic, as I booked my appointment on a Saturday morning. I am so happy I made the effort to visit Shanthala. My entire experience was positive. the trip to Peabody is also very easy, and her office is just off an exit.

I recently visited Dr. Shanthala at her gorgeous office suite to have microdermabrasion one week and a laser facial treatment the next. As I was walking in a patient was leaving, she turned to me and said, «that I would love her and that she is miracle worker!!» I don’t write a lot of reviews on Unilocal but that woman was spot on! My skin feels so smooth and is absolutely glowing… I am happy to look in the mirror! Dr. Shanthala is not only a skilled doctor with multiple degrees and certifications, but a very caring and compassionate person. She spent the time to walk me through her beautiful facility and educate me on her different procedures, then she recommended a few to me that would suit my needs. I am thrilled with the results and wanted to share. (She is definitely not your typical injector or laser operator.) Even if you are getting treatments elsewhere, you need to come and give her a try. You will never go anywhere else!

Shanthala is well informed and gracious. She instantly made me feel welcomed. I am very particular and cautious on who I choose to work with. I want to enhance not change anything. I am always nervous some one is going to go overboard and there will be no turning back. Shanthala only recommends what you need; she would rather you get the results you want then overly push to make more money. I had the new Restylane Silk for botox and I loved the results.
I also have received Cool sculpt treatments on my stomach area. I had been to a place prior and was not very happy; Shanthala was very careful with her placement which is really important. I am very happy with my results!
