We called Whitcomb Tree to look at a number of trees on our property, which were due for a trim and possibly felling. A true professional, Jon Whitcomb advised against a larger remit that would have made him a lot more money, because he thought neither the health of the trees nor the safety of the building required it. The crew were pleasant, got the job done quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. He was also significantly cheaper than other quotes. (And he can also supply firewood at a good price.) Recommend!

After a heavy rain and wind storm caused a huge trunk on our 45 – 50 foot sugar maple to split off and land in two of our neighbors yards we asked around and several people told us we couldn’t go wrong with Whitcomb Tree.
We didn’t go wrong! The Whitcomb team came in and in a very professional and speedy operation took down the rest of the 45 – 50 foot trunk and then pruned and trimmed the rest of the tree to give it stability and make sure it would grow back healthy and strong.
I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for any tree service. They know their stuff!

Jon Whitcomb and his crew removed 2 large trees on our property.
Watching these guys do what they do was quite spectacular. They know their stuff when it comes to cutting down trees, that’s for sure.
The service was great, the job was done in a very timely manner and the price was right compared to quotes we got from other tree service companies.
