A Better Way Moving

Just had help loading up our U-​Haul truck for a one way move. I couldn’t be happier with A Better Way movers… Everything from the kindness and helpfulness when I called to book the help, to the rescheduling that I needed to do when our house didn’t close on time was great.
We hired 3 helpers that were very respectful, courteous and willing to do things to help us out as well. They couldn’t have worked any harder the 3 hours they were here! I highly recommend Aidan, Charles, and Darius if you want to ask for them by name for your move!

A last minute move became easy with the crew that showed up on time and professionally loaded and stores all our family’s treasures. Just called to get an out of state move estimate and they wanted to charge me $ 3400! Are you kidding me!!! I can do so much better. I was trying to give them business for what they stand for but apparently they stand for ripping people off.

Called for an estimate. Was quoted 6 men and two trucks, at $ 225/​hour. Radically higher than anyone else we talked with which really surprised me. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very nice but I didn’t get any confidence he knew what he was asking or how to provide any kind of estimate. The best he would do for an estimate was say it depended on how long it took, which of course I already knew.
I really wanted to use them because I believe in the broader mission of the organization but this didn’t give me any way I could feel like I was being faithful to my expenses. Plus the idea of paying six guys to drive 45 minutes rather than four guys to drive 45 minutes like everyone else just seemed like another waste of money.
