OHH My sore keyboard!!! Is what you will be saying if you partner up with these guys. You will write e-mail after e-mail and get nothing in reply. Oh calling, no go… unless you enjoy talking to an answer machine and not getting a callback!!! Then if you finally do reach a live person, expect rude and unpleasant replies. They treat you like you are bothering them about your property! The pros-They talk a good game but delivery 5% of what they promise. They do have services that will keep you home looking and running smoothly. When my yard needed weed and feed, they had a guy do it and my yard looked great. When there was a leak, they had a person and he fixed it. All at a price I would say is fair. The Cons-The communication is so poor out of the office that you will want to scream! They will not call if a major repair is needed, they will just do it and bill you for it. They state in their contract that any repair over $ 250 they will call you. Nope, did not happen… I found out when I received the monthly statement. Then I had to call and get the information about the repair and it was not even my responsibility to pay for. It was the tenets, when I brought that up, they stated«oh yeah, why were you charged for that?» I said yeah, why. Do you think I heard anything back about the charge, any refund or anything? Nope. I even sent an e-mail asking about the refund and if it had been dispersed yet. Did I get a reply… you guessed it NOT A WORD!!! This could be a really good company. They have a very good detailed report that the owners received every month. They need to change 2 things 1. Stop treating the owners like they are a pesky pest when you hear from them. I call wanting information that could very well be sent via e-mail. If they take the time to reply. It is not like I am a micro-owner. I prefer to just wash my hands and let Gatekeeper do what I am paying them to do. But I want to be keep in the loop of the happenings of MY home. 2. Communicate, communicate, communicate!!! Did I mention communicate. On a good note, I spoke with the owner and he seemed to be understanding of the situation and he took the lead on the problem. I will update as to if that made a difference.
