Kauffman Tire

Love Kaufmann Tire ! I’ve been loyal customer for years and recently visited the east Peachtree store to have a used car checked out prior to purchase. They did a great job and we’re really accommodating with a last minute appointment. These guys can save you thousands $$$$ by checking out a car before you buy it… This was my third car I’ve had checked out over the years. Their inspections and recommendations have always proven solid. Ask for Matt.

I had been needing 3 tires for a month or so, and had done some research online (mostly TireRack) on tires, and had settled on 3 different LRR (low rolling resistence) tires. I had started checking prices, and was intending to get tires in maybe a week. I was next door at Dunkin Donuts, and decided to see which of those 3 tire models Kauffman had. They had the best prices on 2 of the tires, but didn’t have either in stock. I got home and checked 4 – 5 other places, and Kauffman had the best price — Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max. They were $ 46 more than tires only at TireRack, and I’d have to find an installer/​pay them, if you buy from TireRack. Anyway, I call about 3:00 and told them to order four tires, I’m thinking next week. They said they could get them in 2 hours if I wanted to buy them today.

I worked it out with the wife, to eat a nice romantic dinner at Quizno’s next door, and told Kauffman to get the tires. We arrive at 5:20, leave the car, walk next door, and they call at 6:04 the car is ready. I usually get «we’ve found a problem with the car and need you to authorize _​_​_​». Needless to say, the price out the door was the same as quoted, even with TPMS service kits installed. I was more than pleased with the service here, and the car was clean, no greasy, black, smudges. A pleasant experience.
