As some others have said the aesthetics are not great, but they are in the process of renovating so hopefully that will make a difference. I started tanning here a little over a week ago. One major down side is there are only 2 bed options: «regular» and«turbo» I choose the month long turbo package and also a tanning lotion. I spent a little over $ 100 for those things. For just a turbo bed this is quite pricey, the place I previously tanned has a stand up bed with a monthly membership for around the same price(for comparison the max lay time in the turbo bed is 20 minutes and the max lay time in the stand up in 8 minutes). I mainly chose Peachtree Tan because of the location and after my experience I think location is the only way they stay in business. When I first went in my information was written in a spiral notebook which was unconventional but understandable due to the remodel. The 2nd time I, again, laid in the turbo bed and the only issue was the extreme heat in the very small room(they have since installed stronger fans but it is still very warm even on a colder day). However, the 3rd time I came in the associate was using the computer and asked me what type of bed I laid in, I told her turbo. She(don’t know names) asked me my name and then placed me in a regular bed(I know that now but did not realize it then). The 4th time I was just asked a name and again placed in a regular bed but after overhearing some exchanges in the salon I realized I was being placed in the regular bed despite paying for the turbo but decided to wait until the next time to address the issue. My 5th visit upon arriving I was asked my name and then told there was a 20 minute wait for a regular bed. I asked if she could check my record again because I asked for the turbo when I registered and was pretty sure I paid for the turbo. She referred back to the spiral notebook which showed I had paid for the turbo and then said she would correct the entry in the computer. She said there was a 20 minute wait for the turbo bed as well. I told her that was fine and I would wait. I had checked the time and sent a message to my husband because we had an appointment that day and I decided before going in to tan 20 minutes would be the max I would wait and would simply not tan if the wait was longer. After nearly 30 minutes(I checked timestamps on my phone and had been very aware of time due to my appointment) I walked up to the desk and said«I’m not trying to be a pain but it’s been almost 30 minutes and I’m just wondering how much longer» to which she replied«it’s been less than 20 minutes but it’s almost ready.» As she was walking me back to the room I expressed that I was just stressed about time because of an appointment and my husband and children were waiting in the car, to which she replied«I have no control over that.» Which she does not, but she does have control over the amount of time she tells me the wait will be. And even then I understand mistakes but the complete disregard for anything I said was extremly off putting to say the least. I still have nearly 3 weeks left on my membership at Peachtree but the combination of poor customer service, lack of bed choices, and aesthetics are just not worth it and I have found a nearby salon with many more options and better pricing(especially when you consider the service difference). I would rather waste the money spent on the membership than to continue to deal with the issues at this location.
