7-Eleven

7 – 11 Pearl City located on Kamehameha Highway and Lehua Avenue. This 7 – 11 sells the 76 gasoline and it is right next door to the Leeward District Courthouse. Walking distance to a senior citizen apartments and a cemetery. Diagonally across from a convenience store competitor that also sells gasoline.
Recently on Wednesday May 27, 2015 around lunch time I entered the convenience store to purchase a monthly bus pass. I had asked the employee if they had the June bus pass in stock and she just shook her head Yes. I then asked for an adult bus pass and paid via credit card. The employee was efficient in handling the transaction.
After purchasing the bus pass I turned half way around facing the shelves and took notice of the display of white shirts. The shirts were on sale for $ 9.99 and the wordings said SPAM MUSUBI ANATOMY. An interesting gift for an individual who loves spam musubi.
Before exiting out of the 7 – 11 convenience store I took notice that this location had candy leis for sell. There’s a last minute gift for a Class of 2015 graduate. I also took notice of a display case that had fresh flowers. I wonder if this is the only 7 – 11 location that sells flowers in their store. I may have to visit other 7 – 11 locations to see if there’s any fresh flowers for sell.

My FAVORITE One-​Stop-​Shop to get my Slushee Banana Slurpee and Spam Katsu Musubi!!! Almost ALL the times I’ve stopped here it is crazy busy but that’s good business for them. The Ladies who work here are always friendly and helpful. You’ll see all kinds of people in and around 7 – 11. Parking is a tight squeeze and exiting the parking lot on Lehua Street to catch Kamehameha Hwy heading north is CRAZY!!! Definitely a high-​traffic pit stop but well worth it if you need something to satisfy your stomach or a quick gas fill-​up.

This 7 – 11 is not my favorite, but it is on the way to work, so I come here all the time. The parking layout could be better. It always seems dirty in the 7 – 11 compared to the other 7 – 11 stores that I go to.
The people that work here are not that helpful either. I asked for them to check if they had any more musubis (was by the cold section), she said no without even checking. Then went to pay for my other things, and what do you know… there were more musubi’s by the register. Lame.

Located in Pearl City across from McDonalds on Kam Highway. The parking lot is pretty small but there are a few additional stalls on the side.
Your average 7 – 11 with slurpees, big gulps, water bottles, other drinks, musubis, bentos, hot dogs, snacks, fruits, cough drops, medications, magazines, etc.
Prices are cheap and staff is nice.

Dang… Just awful… I can’t even describe this atrocious place… 7 eleven??? This place ain’t a 7 eleven. Get the owner over there ASAP before it goes down. The picture should be the letters «FAIL»

Rockstar Energy Drink + Pop-​Tarts + Chicken Salad sandwich = $ 7.11!
It was the first time my total at 7-​Eleven came out to $ 7.11 so I basically reviewed just so I could tell you that. Hehe. But since I’m the first person reviewing I feel I should add some side notes:
There’s a bum dressed like a Ghostbuster that basically lives outside of this 7-​Eleven. He is terribly rude. I once asked him if he wanted my pastry I bought for breakfast and he started amping out at me that I’m trying to kill him cause I apparently should know he has diabetes. I have ignored him since. I’m pretty sure he’s a bum because no one can stand living with him.
Regardless, I go to this 7-​Eleven five times a week because it’s convenient & it has the energy drinks I like. Sometimes I buy somen salad. It’s pretty decent. Make sure you check the expiration dates if you buy food though! If you buy something that says it’ll expire in a few hours, 90% of the time it’s already spoiled.

Well, the sad truth is this: if you’ve been to one 7-​eleven, you’ve been to them all. They are all staffed with people who don’t really care who you are or how your day is going. They just want to ring you up and get you out of there as quickly as possible so they can gossip about you in a foreign language well after you’ve left.
Quick tip? Get your shit and go. That’s all they care about and that’s all you should care about too.
