Loving the fact they’re in pearl city no need to fight traffic. Great food! My favorite is the pork bao buns. The only thing is the Soju is a bit expensive.

I can’t say my experience was good… The Dj was a kid with a MacBook who didn’t know how to mix. The mixologist didn’t know how to mix, every drink was watery… They prices were straight though.

This was an unexpected trip to this unknown bar I had no idea was about. After reading reviews here on Unilocal, people made it seem like it was a great place to go to have a drink and that’s what I was looking for, someplace to enjoy just a couple of drinks. At first, the directions to this bar was very unclear, and kind of hard to find when its super dark. We had no idea it would be in the back, we were expecting the bar to be seen… But the sign for the bar was fairly dark and hard to spot. Good thing my bf could spot it cause I don’t think I’d ever find it lol. Just so you all know, it’s located next door to the old holy smokes in pearl city. If you don’t know where that is, sorry I can’t help you any further. This place was crowded! Well I basically think it’s because there were a bunch of drunk men playing darts which u found interesting. Our bartender was nice. The drinks she whipped up for us was good… I find the drinks a little overpriced but it taste good and did not disappoint me. I did decide to order food, I went with garlic shrimp and a salad. To be honest, I didn’t feel that it was awesome like it blew my mind away… The garlic fries and calamari are super good tho! This is a small business and very limited space. It’s a little hidden bar in pearl city. If you’re looking for a place to catch up with friends and don’t mind that sometimes it can get loud because of the guys playing darts, then do stop by and try their drinks.

Tip: check in on Unilocal and get a free domestic beer! One of those places you almost don’t want to put a review for because you don’t want it to get too crowded… but alas… Went to Boujie on a Friday after work with some coworkers, about 10+ of us. There were 2 – 4 other customers in the whole place besides our group, clear up until the time we left(I was there from ~3:30pm to about 8:30pm when our server changed). The parking was a little tough and hard to find as there are limited customer parking stalls. I walked in and was like whoa this place is dark! Then waited just enough for my eyes to adjust so I could make my way to pit stop in the bathroom. Came back out and could see the simple but classy welcoming round tables and tall stools with surrounding built in benches and lower small tables that could double as seats. Clean modern simple decore. welcoming without being overdone. The server/bar tender/entire front of house person was very accommodating and prompt with the service. She helped us rearrange all the tables in the place to accommodate our large group. Checked on us and her other customers without hesitation on service. Our side of the tables started with the container of lilikoi soju($ 20). mmm sweet delicious soju… cant even taste the soju. The next one we got was a watermelon one… but I do not like watermelon jolly ranchers and that is what it was like… the jolly rancher vs real watermelon… proceeded on with $ 2 happy hour(4−7pm) beers and some food. The parmesan fries and the ghetto fab ahi roll were probably my more favorite items. We ordered both the types of steak — the bistro one and ribeye, but I must say the meat for the ribeye one was better; but if you want fries with it, go with the bistro one. The wings were also very good, but even at the happy hour price $ 5, you only get 3 wings. I wish it would have came with more or been less expensive or something… 3 wings … odd number. hard to split into a $ 5… All around, great group after work/happy hour place. I would definitely return when I do another event on the west side!

I love Boujie. I never feel out of place here because the atmosphere is just inviting and all the workers are friendly! Even on a very busy night the drinks are still served cold and on point. My favorite things off menu are: electric lemonade because I like tangy and sweet(not to mention strong), spicy pork bao buns(cause who doesn’t love that manapua bread), bistro steak(when I don’t want a drink but I just need a good satisfactory dinner), and calamari(cause it’s bomb AF). There’s a touchtunes jukebox so I can play my own music from my iPhone(just download the app) and the selection of alcohol is crazy, I don’t know anywhere else that serves ice cold Patron from a machine or Hangar 1 vodka! The best place for a drink or HAPPYHOUR $ 5 specials!

Some friends and I came here tonight for the first time. We were pleasantly shocked when we walked in. It was very nice and elegant. The servers were nice and friendly and so was the bartender. The food was also really good along with the drinks! We will be back again.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Nice atmosphere, clean and open feeling. I never imagined this place was way back in the lot, but it’s there and I’m glad that I found it. We actually drove over from Eight50 because they were closed for unforeseen circumstances. Upon entering we were greeted by Lea, the beautiful and friendly bartender. All I can say is that she is awesome. Friendly and she’s so on it checking on each customer and seems to genuinely care that you are happy and have all that you need, food and drinks. Happy hour till 7pm worked with $ 5 pupus which are smaller versions of their regular menu items. I needed to unwind so I had 3STP shots and 2 of this peach Ciroc with 7up and cranberry shots. Yes, it was an all shots night for me, though I don’t normally drink that much. The only items prefers was the tempura calamari and the garlic fries. Perfect portions with a great balance of textures and flavor. Nice plating considering it’s a bar, but this ain’t no ghetto or dive bar, this place has class. Lea made sure our food was on par and that our drinks were always flowing and filled. When he shift ended, Jenny came on and she is equally friendly and down to earth. If you want a nice place to relax and chill, this is it. The clientele aren’t the rowdy the which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Would I go back? Hell yeah!!! I want all my friends to check this place out. I’d go back and try all their menu items, and have them mix new drinks for me to try. And don’t forget to check in on Unilocal for 1 free domestic beer too!!!

They renovated this place and it looks good! Good for watching sports because they have so much clear HD televisions around and every seat has a good view of one of their televisions. I came here early for a Thursday night football game. There was only a bartender and cook working at the time. The bartender was also our server too and she was able to check on us while serving the other customers at the bar. There was maybe about 10 – 15 to people in the bar. A nice crowd for a Thursday night football game. Oh ya… They must have direct tv or something to catch that game live. Awesomeness! So why did I give them 4 out of 5 stars? I was going to put 3 but the bartender/server was on it and kept refilling our beers quickly. Plus the renovations are super awesome. I’ll be back for more football games… Maybe. So why 4 stars? The parking situation there sucks. If you come while the other businesses are open, good luck finding parking. If there is no parking up front near the road, or along the bar side, then good luck. Because apparently the parking in the middle is for the other businesses and they tow!!! Not Boujie but the other businesses in the area will tow you. Sucks ass but oh well. If Boujie was in a better location, this bar would rock. The other downfall is… The food that was posted on Unilocal looked appealing and good. I ordered the dynamite chicken and it was kinda on the smaller portion side and did not look like the photo at all. I’m guessing that maybe their cook that day was lazy or didn’t do it right because all we got was fried chicken with sriracha mayo sauce thing on it. Nothing else on what the menu described. I was so disappointed that we actually left and went to leeward bowl to eat and enjoy the rest of happy hour. So, if it wasn’t for the parking situation and food coming out the way it did, I would recommend this place. However, with their parking situation, I don’t think this place could handle a bigger happy hour crowd. Not sure how their night crowd is but I’m more of a happy hour drinker. I might… Just might give his place a chance on a Monday or Thursday night football game. If their food or cook improves to like how the pictures show on Unilocal… Then I’ll update my review. Otherwise this place actually deserved 3−½ stars.
