Star rating is only because I didn’t get a haircut. Best to have an appointment even if you have never been there. Sat in shop for two hours without getting a haircut. Staff all saw me sitting there with no interaction to let me know a time frame of when I might possibly get in a chair. Took other customers who came in after me I understand appointments but let me know something.

Made an appointment online two days in advance, received an email confirming the appointment 24 hours in advance showed up for the appointment and the shop was closed. Waited around for 30 minutes, someone finally shows up I ask if the barber I made the appointment with is coming in they say no he’s on vacation. Ok I have a confirmed appointment for 830 it’s now after 9 can you take care of me no I have appointments all day. Look around no one is in the shop. I am done with this place.

Worst customer service ever. They take over 2 hours to help you and find that normal. Lost a lifetime customer for sure.

I hit this spot up while I was staying in Waikiki a month ago. It was my first time here. I came in during the middle of the day and there was no wait. Kimo did a very good job on my fade. He gave me a straight razor edge up which was a nice finish. When I come to this barbershop I feel at home. I’m greeted, treated with respect and courtesy, and I can usually have a decent conversation with my barber. I would highly recommend this barbershop to anyone new to the island, coming for a short visit, or just wanna get laced for the weekend.

Just had my first cut here seems like a great shop. I was greeted as soon as I came in. I didn’t have an appointment but I went in about 230/​3pm on a friday and it was mostly empty so I got right into a chair. I didn’t get my specific barbers name but he like the other two on duty all seemed very personable and professional. Prior to this I had the same barber for 22 years on the mainland and I will say this cut isn’t better than that one in my opinion but it is a very close second and to me that says a lot.
The shop overall is very much like any of the dozens of shops back in home in Philly. The music playing the small talk between client and barbers. I think I just found my go to spot for hair cut. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is because this is only my first visit I have to see if this good experience will consistently be here if so I will happily update this later to a full 5.

I was given the name of this shop when I arrived on Island. The barbers there do a very good job. However they are usually very busy and if you don’t have an appointment you will be waiting for hours. The part that is the problem is that they don’t let you know that they are booked up all day and you just keep sitting there. So just make an appointment and you will be fine.

I walked in (in Navy uniform) and they literally acted as if I wasn’t there. No one greeted me, or addressed me for the hour I sat patiently waiting, while the barbers proceeded to take customers who came in after me. I understand appointments, but usually the barber lets the other patrons know, he is not available due to appointments. Basically, they didn’t know me… so they didn’t care… even when I got up to leave, there was no attempt to earn my business… so I got the hell out of there.
The only reason I came here was to support a Black owned business… it hurt me to realize my grave mistake and their unprofessionalism.

I must say this is one of the best barbershops I have personally visited. #Professional #KidFriendly and a welcoming environment. I will drive and pay 20 dollars for great service.

Very clean & professional. My boyfriend’s holy grail barbershop. Skilled barbers. Always an awesome experience. Kid friendly. Best barbershop on the island.

This is the cleanest and best atmosphere I have seen in a barbershop in the three years I have been in Hawaii. Staff is professional, and you get good vibes when you enter and they make appointments. The guy that cut my hair was running behind when we got there. It was nice not having to wakek up early and fight to be first in line. The only issue I have is the price. My son and I are usually regulars somewhere else and they have adult and kids pricing. Not sure if I want to continue to pay $ 20 for a plain haircut for my eight year old son. My current barber is half that price for kids and only $ 15 for adults. Even when my son gets designs cut in it’s the same price. You do get a punch card for a free haircut after 10 haircuts. I’m still debating if I want to leave my regular barbershop for a new more expensive spot.

Best barbershop on the island. Great customer service good environment. Great hospitality! Makes you feel right at home.
