Bowling attendant had a terrible attitude… probably should have stayed home instead of going to work. When we arrived it wasn’t even busy but we seemed to be bothering him. Bought pizza and waffles fries, took forever to be done. Okay there was only one person working in the snack bar on a Friday night, when the Hickman one is closed… we will cut him a little break! But there is no excuse for the flavor of the pizza… I have never had such a terrible tasting pizza. It didn’t even taste like pizza!!! The waffle fires were just right! Will never return! Will drive to Shafter or find a local place to bowl the next time the Hickam is closed!

Review of birthday party during Cosmic Bowling.
Easiest birthday I’ve ever hosted. I did the deluxe package for $ 16/​child, which include time in the Adventure Center. Price also includes, pizza, ice cream, bowling time, and shoes. The only thing I brought was the cake.
I just hosted another party the previous weekend for my little girl at Pig Tails and Crew Cuts and it was stressful and mediocre, especially for the $ 250 I paid! The ladies did not interact at all, didn’t ensure I had what I needed, nothing. I had to ask for everything and had to lead the party.
Here, I felt I was well taken care of. The room where the party was held is a large room with pool tables and arcade games. The arcade games are all broken, apparently, and the Army is supposed to come and claim. That wasn’t included in the party anyway, so I didn’t care (and frankly relieved to not have to pay for the kids to play games). The Adventure Center kept them busy for 45 minutes while the pizza cooked. I ordered additional pizzas for the adults who stayed.
The table was decorated with a birthday table cloth, birthday cups, plates, napkins, etc. before I even arrived. When the pizzas were done, I called the kids in (they had a fantastic time playing in the Adventure Center), and we had the pizza. I normally don’t serve cake right after the food, but since we were relocating to bowl, I decided to get it done all at once. After cake and ice cream, we did presents then headed over to get our shoes on.
The staff had already set out the shoes for us. All we had to do was split up and enter our info into the computer and go! The party was 2.5 hours! The parents came to get their kids toward the end, and since many of them knew each other, they visited for a while.
I should mention that the party was on a Friday night specifically so we could do the Cosmic Bowling. Great night!!! My only criticism would be the pizza — not the best I’ve had, but the ice cream they served was really good quality. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to have a party where the parent doesn’t have to do much.

Have it one star because the food was good. Other than that, horrible experience. This place is not kid friendly. My daughter fell and busted her lip open. While we were trying to calm her down and aid her, a staff member asked us to leave because of the excessive crying. We didn’t realize you aren’t allowed to cry when you get hurt. We will not be returning.
The «game room» is also very lame. Very few games for kids, and the quarter machine was out of order as well as some of the games. Take your kids somewhere else.

Bowling lanes weren’t ready at opening time – most people were still waiting 30 min after their posted opening at 11. My husband ordered a fried rice omelette and he said he was positive it had been sitting for quite a while by the time he ate it. The rest of our food seemed freshly cooked, but honestly wasn’t that great. The service at both the bowling counter and the grille counter was great. Very sweet gals that were working today. Probably will stick to going to Hickam for our bowling fun, since the food there is quite a bit better (my kids wouldn’t touch what we ordered for them today).

Horrible experience. Staff was not helpful and hardly around. I had to track them down several times during our game. Our balls were not returning, the score board was constantly malfunctioning and the pins kept resetting during a players turn. We ended up leaving before our first game was over and did not receive a refund. We wont be going back.

Had our son’s Birthday here a few yrs back and doing another birthday there this yr. Totally love the place and the prices are great. Friendly staff and good food make it a plus!

I am totally loving this Bowling Alley Food!!! Yes I was starving and super hungry (on the verge of DYING) but I ate almost all the food I ordered… && I ordered a lot of food. Between me and my bf I think we ordered Saimin, french fries, pizza … ok ok thats a lot for us but may be not most people. Everything we ordered was super! And everything came out to $ 14.00 oh and drinks too.
The french fries were tasty, yummy and super crunchy! They were cris cut fries or however you spell them. The pizza was really tasty too and less than $ 5 for a personal pan size.
I am planning on going back the next time the other half wants to take me there… ^_^

It’s pretty cheap, but you need to show your military ID. Gets a little crazy on weekend nights, bc of tournaments, so the wait sucks. It is kid friendly and there are a lot of bowling balls for them.
