Owner very personable. The bar has that wonderful irish pub feel with the all wood bar accented with stained glass. Didn’t have any food. Guinness and Harp on tap along with the «norm» domestics. I would definitely make this one of my usual hangouts if i didnt live 3 hrs away.

We wandered in here to watch some football games since Defiant doesn’t have TVs. It was an easy choice sine they had a free buffet at halftime! The food was pretty good and I really enjoyed the burger, The beer was a decently priced and they had Defiant and few other craft brews on tap. There were plenty of TVs to choose from so we saw all the games at once which I love.
I’m not in the Pearl River area often but I will certainly stop in Murtry’s again if I want to visit Defiant,
