The white girl with reddish hair who works at Starbucks is SORUDE. REALLYBADCUSTOMERSERVICE. That’s no way for her to be speaking to a customer. We should have just left and never paid for our coffee. If she was having a bad day she should’ve left it at home. If she doesn’t like her job then QUIT. Keep your attitude to yourself little girl and grow up.

It’s a bookstore with a Starbucks. How could I possibly subtract any stars right? We have been coming to this location since it opened. Never had a problem. We buy a lot of books here. The kids love to come here and find cool books. My son used to get tutored here. We love to grab a coffee and read while the kids browse. Good times! This particular day, we were going about our business as usual. My son and his friend were doing a project quietly The other parent and I sat close to the kids and waited. The kids worked quietly when one of the employees came up to them and told them they had to stop. The kids were in our sights and were in no means being loud. She said she usually would not mind, but its Christmas, and she does not want to lose her job. She could have addressed us parents who she knew was with the kids. Just seemed odd because there were other kids working on school things too. I am sure I will be back. Can’t knock the place because of one peculiar employee. They just need to work on customer service a little more.

Super super super shocked! I always go to the same Starbucks everyday…(Everyday even this morning). I came to do my Christmas shopping before I get my monthly facial at the Pearland Town Center. Right as I got out of my car, my purse strap knocked my perfectly good coffee all over my floor board:(once I finished cleaning it out(built in latte’ air freshener) I went inside Barnes and Noble to reward myself with another Iced Coffee. Holy cow!!! It literally took 2 minutes for them to take my order, check me out, and give me my coffee! I have been going to Starbucks everyday for a good 12 – 13 years and this place bye far is the best!!! Moral of the short story is… Although the start of my adventure here was rough they put a smile on my face! 10 ‘s

I love this place! Great place to pick up good reads and more. Picked up a few books here over a span of 4 months and other stuff like my plastic model plane. I always look forward to their clearance tables where items are marked with red dots and are 50−75% off. I also have a Barnes and Noble club member card which gives me a 10% discount on their items. Great selections, organization and staff make this place a no-brainer whenever I just wanna hangout or kill time like now. Will be visiting this place over and over many, many times more!

My kids enjoy going to the kids section, well, mostly to play with the train table. I enjoy browsing in the store and purchasing books for my classroom. I also love the Starbucks option too. I haven’t had any problems.

I really only buy magazines and impulse items. I really just don’t love the layout for some reason. Maybe I am spoiled by the websites. I don’t really understand the people«hanging out» reading books.

Horrible, shitty internet. If you don’t need WiFi than its great. Lots of seating and plugs. It does have a limited starbucks but it’s decent .They have a large collection of exams review books for all professions.

Very nice. There is a Starbucks inside that is nice and makes good coffee. Only complaint is the internet is bad.

I’ve been to a countless number of Barnes & Noble stores in multiple states over the years(most of them in California), and I’ve never had a noticeable issue with customer service or intelligence deficiencies with employees at any of these stores… UNTIL I WENTTOTHESTOREINPEARLAND, which is where I happen to live now. While II cannot say I have encountered ALL of the employees at this store, I have dealt with the majority of them and I’m shocked they are employed anywhere, frankly, and all the more puzzled that they are at a store associated with things like books, literacy, and intellect! This most recent experience I had there, on Friday evening of March 13, was with two employees who have the combined personality traits of an ice cube. To say they were rude is really more of an understatement; yes, they were indeed rude, but the utter cluelessness is what made our shopping experience so bad. All I could ask myself in both encounters with these individuals is why on earth they were hired to: a) interact with people, and b) represent products associated with thinking.

Had a terrible experience here. I was visiting Texas to get my 2 year old daughter cancer treatments and when we have down time she likes to go buy a new book and play with the train at b&n. While at this location my dad came in from Louisiana to see his granddaughter and while at Barnes and noble he snapped a picture of my daughter and I looking at a book together. A employee of Barnes and noble got in my dads face and was very aggressive telling him he couldn’t take pictures in the store. My dad got a Lil agitated but complied. The employee then hovered around us in the children’s section glaring at me and looking out of the corner of his eye at all of us. Needless to say my family will no longer be spending any money at Barnes and noble and I will take my daughter elsewhere to get her books.

I am a regular at this Barnes and Noble location, because it is the closest bookstore around me in Pearland and they usually have everything I need. Though the store is great I can’t help but not ignore the staff. They always seem to have crappy attitudes and when asked a question they don’t seem like they want to help… ATALL. Same for the Starbucks section of the store… Horrible customer hospitality, and help. They make me not want to even go to the store.

A regular Barnes and Noble. It is not a very good study place. Only one table in the Starbucks section has available outlets for laptops. They jam the music pretty loud also. There are plenty of seating areas with tables.

Starbucks is good. The Starbucks’ music is bad.

This Barnes and Noble used to be a good spot to study, BUT then they decided to cover the outlets and blare the music to, what seems like an obvious attempt to keep people from coming to study and take up room. I would recommend the Shepard/W Grey location. They are city minded folks and they get it. Its a bit busier, for a reason.

With brick and mortar bookstores having so much trouble staying afloat, one would think Barnes and Nobles would be more accomodating to customers. This store has disabled their electrical outlets so that customers cannot charge their devices, including the NOOKS on which we use to download purchases from the store. B&N your new policy sucks!

This store is HUGE and has a giant play area for kids which was perfect since I was with my Godson and twin nieces. I was able to hang out with them for a bit and then leave them alone with some books and other fun toys while I walked around the store looking for gifts. Staff is great and the music was fantastic. The line to check out was pretty quick and they even helped me set up a new B&N account.

if you want adequate distractions to keep you from falling asleep while studying and friendly starbucks staff, then this is a decent place to review what you should already know… the day before… in need of more electrical outlets though… oh, and did i mention that they have books here?

Located right in Pearland town center, this Barnes and Noble is large but not as big as some of the others. The parking is limited, so find a spot and start walking. This location is large with a variety of different sections. The day I went in, I was looking for something other than books. Most Barnes and Noble stores have gifts and smaller non-book items to purchase. This location doesn’t have as many gift items to chose from as other locations. On this occasion, I was in a rush and ended up choosing some Godiva cocoa. The store was clean and laid out in a logical manner. Ok, so the most annoying part of my experience was the two cashiers. There were two female cashiers who were EXTREMELY loud. They were gossiping and talking so loud that the front half of the store could hear them. It seemed to me that they were talking loud enough so that people would hear them. At one point a certain Christmas song came on and one of them started singing along with it. She kept commenting on her singing ability back in school and how she used to be so good. Well, I can tell you, that someone must have lied to her, because she was awful. I am guessing these ladies are just in need of constant attention. When I went to pay which I dreaded because they were the only two cashiers, one of the ladies was so busy talking that she didn’t even notice the line that had formed for check out. When I walked up to the register, she kept trying to engaged me in her ridiculous banter, which I ignored. I paid and left. Ok, so rating this place was very difficult for me. It’s a nice new location that is clean and well laid out. It isn’t as big as some of the other locations. The incredibly annoying cashiers make me want to score is a 2, but I’ll be nice and give them 3 stars for a decent store.

This is a really nice Barnes & Noble in a great location. It’s well laid out, and has great bargain sections, too. The coffee shop also pretty nice.
