We have been looking for a great Indian place in pearland and this is it! We tried the tikka masala, chicken tandoori, vegetable biryani and garlic naan. We ordered take out and everything was still delicious and had great portions. My only complaint would be that I wish the naan was more garlicky. But I love garlic. We also got the mango lassi it was also awesome! This place will definitely be our go to Indian in pearland for sure!

Biryani Express is the only Indian restaurant around worth going to. Always great service and fast. Chicken tikka masala is our favorite. Chicken kurma and the biryani selection are also delicious. Do you self a favor and order the samosas to start with. Their naan is also the best I’ve ever had! Had to add: the place is spotlessly clean.

My husband loves their chicken tikka masala. I love their price! The staffs are very friendly, but it takes a while for the food to be made, be sure to have patience or call ahead.

Went here with my family one night. Small place(only roughly 10 tables), but excellent food and service. Very flavorful dishes and their garlic naan is the best. Portions are very generous. And it seemed like take-out was common with them, many people came in to pick up their orders.

Amazing food for great prices. The staff was friendly and always let us know exactly how long it would be for our food to come out. This was a great find and I will definitely be going back regularly.

Food is ok. But we are charged higher for some reason. on 5⁄27 during lunch time, Ordered cut mirchi and chicken biriyani. With tip and tax, we just noticed on credit card for 31.5. There is definitely some over charge here. I am going to dispute this with credit card.

The food here is very tasty!!! And consistent at that. We always get the chicken tikka masala and the saag paneer with two orders of butter naan to go. We have never dined in. The spices here are«on point» it is truly authentic and some of the best Indian food I have had. The first time we came here the guy helping us was not very friendly. My husbanded picked up the food tonight and he said it was a different very polite male. We will return. Negative one star because they are soooo stingy with the rice that comes with the entrees.

I’ve been craving Indian food for a few days now and I asked someone if this place was good and they said yes. I got the American staples when it comes to Indian food– tikka chicken masala and chana masala with an order of butter naan! SOGOOD. So good that I am giving it 5 stars instead of 4 for the lackluster service. I tried calling in the to-go order and there was no answer. The guy that took my order wasn’t the friendliest either, but the food is good and that’s what matters! The chana is deliciously spicy. I was told they should have a lunch buffet by next week. I can’t wait to try it.

The best Indian food I have tasted and I will go over why Quantity: at first it looks small but it will fill you up fast And you will have a hard time finishing it Taste:very rich flavor especially the spices and salt which are very nice and some sweetness to it and I’m am talking about all foods for I have eaten all of them Service:very nice people and they will answer any questions you have Atmosphere:very calm chill atmosphere like your at home and also very clean, in fact it’s spotless Drink:you can get a regular Coke or water but there specialty drink is passé and for me I got mango and the taste was very rich and tasty Ps:everything is homemade

Delicious Indian food at a reasonable price! I’m so glad to finally have quality Indian food in Pearland. Their samosas are sooo good! Some of the best I’ve have in TX. I also had Chana Masala and it was spicy and seasoned just right. The naan is perfect as well. The portion size was good too… had enough for two meals. I will definitely be back!

Found this place after searching for Indian food in Pearland and was pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. Service was great. Food was delicious and flavorful. Definitely will be back to try out other menu items. There are a lot to choose from and they all look good.

This place warrants five stars to reflect how often we order takeout from here. The foods are always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. We tried a lot of the items on their menu and so far… delicious!

The chicken biryani is really good. I love the fact that they do not add all of the extra strong spices which can cause biryani to have too much different flavor. I have tried the goat curry, chicken biryani, and chili chicken. I like the biryani the best and will return to try more of the menu items. The prices are reasonable. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday’s but maybe that will change so be sure to call in advance. Give this place a try!

The food, cleanliness & service is excellent. So far we have been there 2 times and enjoyed the food. The décor needs some work(but that is far down the list for us). The portions are just right for two people to finish. I prefer a slightly larger portion to take back home and would be happy to pay little extra for that. The biryani is excellent and so is the masala dosa. The chicken tikka masala was enough to enjoy to with two naans. Food gets 5 stars Service gets 5 stars Cleanliness gets 5 stars Portion size gets 4 stars Décor gets 3. Overall 4.5 stars. Will go back often.

Glad to have an Indian restaurant in Pearland. Service is a bit scattered but friendly. We tried Gobi 65(never had this before) and it was breaded cauliflower in a shocking red sauce. Tastes interesting. The butter chicken is decent and the naan(regular and garlic) is fresh. The best dish of the meal is the goat dum biryani. Rice cooked perfectly with the goat slightly salty and the overall dish has a light spicy kick. I would come back to try the other biryani and chicken tikka masala.

When I walked in, my expectations were low because of the stark layout and simple décor. We had the chicken tikka and chicken kurma, and both were excellent! We ordered them spicy, and the cook obliged without going overboard. The garlic naan was quite good and very garlicky. But the best part of all was the mango lassi(a mango/yogurt smoothie/shake). Excellent mango flavor, and not too sweet. I WILLBEBACK.

One of the only Indian food places in Pearland. The place was very simple, yet new and clean. The waiter provided friendly, warm service. They had a large TV, so we got to watch the football game while eating. There was no volume on the tv or any abient music. A little low volume music would’ve been nice. The service was a little slow but very attentive. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikki masala, samosa chat, garlic naan. Everything was very good ! Just the right amount of spicy. The butter chicken was absolutely creamy and delicious. The garlic naan smelled and tasted nice and garlicky. We also ordered a mango smoothie drink and indian tea. The mango drink was fresh and the Indian tea had an awesome sweet aroma, genuine tea from India. Everyone in my party loved the food and this will be our go to spot for Indian food. The prices are also very reasonable. Most dishes are around $ 8 to $ 10 for lunch. We each ordered a different dish and everyone tried a little of each.

Butter chicken here is amazing! I’ve gone to many Indian restaurants in Houston and this by far is the best I’ve tasted. They were a little stingy with the rice… Other than that I can’t wait to go back and try other items on their menu.

The food! The food! The food! Perfectly awesome and delicious! They have the best butter chicken in Houston– period! They charge a fair price for what you get. Service is wonderful– these are good people offering a great service promptly. I usually order my food via phone first so when I get there, its ready to go. They are, by the way, very easy to reach by phone which makes ordering dinner very easy. This is my primary choice for Indian food in Houston that’s not a buffet. Personally, I would always prefer an Indian Buffet style, and there are many in Houston, but only during lunch. For dinner availability and for food quality, this is it. Tandoori chicken: A+, Butter Chicken: A++, Chicken Tikka Masala: A, Rice: B(served fresh, but average), Service: A+.

Picked up food for a party… my version of «potluck». Didn’t know the times when i walked in to find out I arrived during their lunch break… I believe its from 2pm-530pm, but i was still able to put in an order to be picked up later that day which was awesome since most places expect a day or two warning. I had ordered the chicken biryani and the gobi manchurian(spicy fried cauliflower)…both dishes were a hit, ppl even took more plates to go of those dishes. I was very skeptic because of the first pictures I’d seen by another person who has only 1 review saying they found a cockroach in their food. Glad I decided to make my own judgement… definitely will be back.

For sure it’s good! It is UNFORTUNATE that one of the Unilocal reviewers below found a bug(I would not like it if I had seen it, may be it happened after they cooked). My friends and I have been regular customers and we NEVERHADSUCHISSUES so far. I am a vegetarian and I love most of their food. Most of my friends who order in or take out like their meat options. I hope Unilocal had 3−½ star rating option. Pros: 1. Some items are delicious(love their Biriyani !) and most of them are pretty good. 2. The waiters/cashier are pretty friendly and helpful. 3. It’s a BYOB — Bring your own Beer/Wine place with free Wifi. Cons: 1. Décor is nothing great, I hope it would been above average for a nice community like W. Pearland. 2. Service can be faster and efficient. 3. Sometimes they are so busy that they won’t pick up the phone the first time. I have just shown up during their stated business hours and they are open. 4. I feel they are a dollar to two on the higher side on dishes(pricey for the current service level and décor). In my opinion, they are probably figuring it out still as they are new. I hope they will improvise overall service and more options are available soon. Overall it is a GOOD place to try!

Avoid at all costs found a dead bug in my saag paneer the other day. It was also pretty empty on a sat afternoon when I walked in. Also a bit on the pricey side if they are serving dead bugs in the food!
