Discount Tire Store – Pearland, TX

I had an extremely great experience here from walking in until walking about. The knowledge received from learning about my specific tires were phenomenal. The wait was bearable considering getting my tires done on a busy Friday. I would recommend this place to anyone requiring new tires on a vehicle. Customer service at this location is incredible with a high level of professionalism!

All I got to say is why is the service so dang slow if they got about 10 people working here? I mean, come on its not even the slow service its the lack of communication these workers have with each other.
Here’s the deal: I come in today to see why my back tire is deciding to leak out air ever so often. I wait for an hour and a half in the waiting area that doesn’t have a TV, no WiFi (not that I’m that type of person), the magazines are only in one area of the store which is between a set of customers… its a good thing I had my study material or I’d be messed up.
Alan, the guy who works here, asks me if I want my tire rotated? I said yes. I’m waiting for additional hour.
When I finally see my car, Betsy, I walk outside to notice that they only fixed the leaky tire and didn’t do no tire rotation. I quickly ask the guy who bought my car. why haven’t you done that? I’ve been waiting for an hour and yall didn’t do that? I mean, what’s the hold up?!
I wait again for another 20 minutes. Oh and super finally they got they stuff together. These 10 guys working here were playing around with each other the whole time while I was waiting.
David, the guy who used to work at the Almeda location kept on slacking off – by going in and out of the break room. I’d seen him walk in and out of that room about 30 times as I counted.
Kyle, another guy that works here kept on joking around with another of his coworker.
I see a total of 10 people waiting for their car to get done and these guys are just taking their precious time.

Discount Tire has been my go to tire shop since high school. A good friend has worked for the company since he was 16, we’re in our 30s now, so there’s a sense of loyalty within the company I really like. When I moved to Manvel, I accidentally went to the location at Pearland Parkway instead of 518 & 288. Boy oh boy am I glad I made that mistake! The folks in there take such good care of me, I feel like I’m part of their family. I always feel like I’m «getting the hook up» because they go beyond the call of duty to get me taken care of while remaining in my budget. I am so thankful I happened upon this location. I’ve been in 3 times, and each time, I feel like I’m going to hang with friends.

Needed air and a tire rotation. You know there’s no free air in Texas
Any way; they don’t charge for air OR rotation.
In and out in 30 minutes!!!

This guy there was really sweet, I bought four new tires there. He picked out one used good condition tire and told me to use it as a spare, because the old tire is safer to drive than the spare. How sweet is that? He cares about me, a stranger. This was two years ago, I forgot his name but remember his act of kindness. he will know who he is when he reads this review. It is nice to know that a tire place like this is genuine and caring about their customers.

Always friendly and knowledgable staff at all the discount tire locations I’ve been to. I’m impressed with their ability to offer personal service even when they are at their busiest. This is the only place I go to with my tires

Customer service is nice. I fell for their one hour quote after the parking Lott was full and the lobby was packed. 2 ½ hours later I was able to leave steaming, 1 hour you will be out they said, so much for that. Be prepared to wait awhile on the weekend, better plan would be have someone pick you up.

Recently had a tire repair at another location and car was driving a bit rough. Took my concern to Pearland location and staff was quick and took my car in right away. They were fast and all with amazing service. My car is back to driving like new.

For something as unpleasant as tires, these guys sure do a good job making the experience tolerable.
Employees are fast, very polite and honest. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I came here to get some new rims and tires for my car. The guys help me look on the computer for the style of rims I wanted and also the type of tires that were best for those rims. I ended up finding some that needed to be ordered from California and would be delivered in few days. Once they arrived the guys called me and told me to come by so they can put them on. It’s important to come here really early on Saturdays because it gets super busy!
I like the fact that they don’t push you to buy something they want you to get. They recommend certain tires for your car but they don’t force you to buy them. In the end I ended up having a really good experience and felt like I got a really good deal.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and expedient at competitive prices. What more could you ask for? I do wish they had wifi available.

Don’t have to buy new tires that often but when I do, I come here since these guys are always really fast and friendly. They also always seem to have our tires in stock, which you can check online, so that helps the decision making process too.
