Went to the new location recently and it was beautiful. Service was great and food was delicious as always. They have the BEST calamari The salsa bowls are way too small. But … They have gotten WAY too expensive!!! It was $ 60 for spinach enchiladas and combo fajitas for 1. That’s just ridiculous. I used to frequent that place, but with those prices I won’t be back.

Great tasting queso and I love the margaritas, a bit busier tonight than usual and service from bar is slow. I recommend the street tacos, all flavored are good. Ask for waitress Maria she is great!

I liked their old location better. Emma’s Margarita was delicious, chips excellent, tortillas tasted fresh. The green sauce seemed stolen from Gringos but honestly it had more spice so I liked Emma’s better. Had some jalapeño ranch that was watery and tasteless. Queso appetizer was so runny it wouldn’t even coat the chip. Like cheese water and nothing in it(no chunks of Pico or anything). Bathroom stunk and was dirty. Honestly I probably won’t be back. Waitress was super friendly though.

Came here during breakfast on a Sunday, which we were able to grab a table right away. First time eating here so I was not sure what to expect. I’ve been craving breakfast so I ordered the French Toast Platter with the scrambled eggs and cheese. Presentation of the dish was nice. This was the first time I’ve seen French toast come without powdered sugar. The taste itself was okay, it wasnt anything too special. Then I took a bite into their potato and eggs, which also lacked flavor even adding salt and pepper. I probably don’t recommend the breakfast unless you wanted something quick and easy to eat without any expectations. Their Mexican food on the other hand is a different story. I had a bite of their fresh homemade Flour tortillas. It was hot and fresh. They do have also a fresh $ 2.99 mimosas. I recommend their alcoholic beverages as well.

Food was pretty good. Not the best in the world but good enough. I think people come for the drinks more than the food. The homemade tortillas are good and they have pretty good fajitas. The service was good as well…

The only reason I give this eating establishment 2 stars is because of the ok food. So we placed an order to go and was told it would be a 15 minute wait… Not a problem. When we arrive 20 minutes later our food was not ready… Not a problem. They send us the bill and we proceed to pay. Out of nowhere some big Hispanic guy comes over and questioned us in a non professional manner. Almost as if he thought we didn’t belong. So as we wait on our food we pay and the tip part comes around. I personally don’t tip until I see the food and all of my food is accounted for. So seeing that is was not I tell the creepy Hispanic guy we are missing items. Now mind you in between paying and waiting for food the guy was literally staring at us the whole time making my girl and I feel very uncomfortable. So we tell the guy we are missing items like the damn tortillas that’s suppose to go with our fajitas. Common shit right. So we decide not to tip because of it and omg we got the ugliest dirtiest looks walking out. Quick lesson to Emma’s Mex grill: even though you will never see my face again try to have the same common courtesy with all races, colors, shapes and sizes. Moral of the story I would not recommend this place to anyone I know not even my enemy.

I have been here with friends a few times [so far] in 2016! They like the food, but I am DRAWN to the cucumber margharita. I am not a big fan of margharitas(normally), but this one is AMAZING(OK, I usually order 2). It is spicy, not to sweet and oh, so AWESOME! The service ranges from acceptable to good, but did I mention the cucumber margharita?

Drinks, drinks, drinks!!! The bar here is very good and very reasonable priced. Margaritas even the house margaritas are very good. I had a taco salad which was amazing. Service as been great every time we have eaten here. They are right by my favorite movie theater too. We can get dinner and walk over to the movies.

We met friends for dinner here last night, our 5th visit here, and I have to bring the rating up to 5 stars. We sat outside. It’s a little weird getting outside, you go through the restaurant through the back door, into the alley, down the curb, back up and over to the patio. However, once we sat down we had chips and 2 salsas served. Oh my gosh, so good. We had 2 wonderful servers who were so nice, and attentive. One recommended a frozen top shelf margarita for me. Wowsers! It arrived in a giant margarita glass. Delicious! The queso is also really good. I ordered cheese enchiladas which were mmm mmm good! The waitress told us they are moving into a larger, prettier space at the other end of the complex. It won’t have an outdoor space which is disappointing but that’s ok, the service, food and drink will keep bringing us back!

The worst Mexican food and experience I may have ever had. The chips were greasy and clumped together. The red salsa tasted burned and had a bad flavor. Very poor service even though they were not very busy. The food was bland at best. If you want good Mexican food in this area go down a few miles to Don picos.

I agree with most. This is not a very good. I had taco salad, no flavor in the beef. The best thing was my husbands beer. I’m giving this 2 stars only because the waitress was wonderful or else it would’ve been one star.

I will probably not be coming back here. The food and the service did not impress me at all. The food wasn’t bad but it definitely didn’t stand out or compare to the many competitors in Mexican food around here. I had the flautas and I didn’t really have a desire to finish them. Our waitress checked on us WAY too often and definitely overstayed her welcome at our table many times. I understand she was trying to be nice but I like to enjoy my food and not spend my experience here trying to respond to the waitresses small talk. We tipped her well because she was young and trying but it’s not kosher for a waitress to be like that. I would recommend other Mexican joints before this one.

I hope North Korea doesn’t here about this place because these Margaritas are the bomb! Get the Emmas margarita, comes with an extra shot of tequila and orange liquor!

No wait. Quick service. Ample parking. Hot food. Chips tasted a little over cooked. Great prices with a nice sized menu. I docked a star because my 6 year old got milk with his kids meal and it cost an additional $ 2.45! I can buy a gallon for less than that. His kids meal was $ 5.25 making it plus his drink nearly as expensive as the adult meals. I doubt we will be back as we have gotten better or equally tasty food elsewhere but with better priced kids selections.

This place was a disappointment at every turn. Their web site says, Join us for a Sunday Brunch Buffet 8am — 1pm. We walked in a few minutes before 11am on Sunday. The host asked if we were there for breakfast, we said yes, he said, «you need to hurry, we only have breakfast for 4 more minutes». My wife asked about the breakfast buffet that went until 1pm and we were told it wasn’t happening. Rushed to a table, there were a few breakfast options, all but 1 involved eggs. I am not a fan of eggs. The only non egg item was pancakes. I asked if I could substitute the eggs that came with the pancakes for something else and was flat out told no. My plate came with two pancakes, bacon and potatoes. I knew I was in trouble when I noticed the pat of butter wasn’t melting. Room temperature pancakes it was! The potatoes were barely cooked. It was awful. The only highlight was the bacon. If you are looking for bacon on a Sunday morning this is the place for you! Not to beat a dead horse but the service was terrible also. Asked repeated times for coffee and water refills. Once we asked for water and got a bowl of lemons. Won’t be back…

I have to give this place 5 stars. It is truly the best Mexican food in Pearland and I would even go out on a limb and say the best Mexican food in Houston. I am beyond impressed every time I come here. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, it’s the best. The menu is huge. It is literally pages and includes«tex mex» and«mex mex.» The street tacos are my favorite. Very moist and flavorful. They are most know for their tequila. They have hundreds of bottles of tequila and have several signature drinks. Unfortunately I am more a beer person, but I hear the drinks are good. The only downfall of this place is location. In Pearland there are two sides, new and old. I feel like this restaurant is situated right in the middle which makes it just far away from both ends to be considered a hassle on 518. However, when I’m feeling up for the traffic filled drive, I will trek down here. On a side note, I would like to say that this place kicks butt over Gringos. Way less wait, much more quiet and significantly better food. Do your self a favor and eat here.
