Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Pearland

A friend and her child both see physicians at Kelsey-​Seybold, so I thought I would try to make an appointment. I called the appointment # and was treated rudely. The employee insisted on having my insurance information, DOB, SSI # and other information before even telling me if they were able to see me over the next couple days.
This did not seem right, so I called the Pearland office. The employee there was even worse. She actually laughed at me and hung up when I refused to give her my SSI# and DOB. As a former victim of identify theft, I am VERY concerned about giving out my SSI#. I still cannot believe that this is their «protocol» and am even more surprised that employees can treat potential customers in this manner.

I had a dermatology appointment last month for annual skin exam. Dr. Kimberly Mullinax explained everything to me, answered all my questions and gave me good advice. Dr. Mullinax is professional and thorough. Her assistant is also professional. The clinic is very clean. The service is efficient.

My husband was appt, see to doctor at 9:45am, very long wait for 1hr. Then go to lab again long wait for 1hr. Here not improve! That’s problem time. Finally we leave at 12:15pm.

Some of the nurses are extremely rude. I was trying to see a Dr. For a very bad back pain and they told me there was nothing available, acted like they didn’t care and didn’t even offer to check another clinic. I called Kelsey Seybold west and Scott (one of the nurses) got me in that same day.

I was referred here to see a gastroenterologist. As soon as I walked in, I was promptly greeted by the receptionist. I barely sat done and was seen by the nurse and doctor right away. The doctor examined me and answered all my questions. He was thorough and reassuring. Everyone was professional and friendly. The best part was that I was in and out quickly. I’ve been in some clinics where I’ve had to wait close to an hour to see the doctor (even with a scheduled appt), so this was a pleasant surprise. You can register on their Kelsey online system, which gives access to lab results, appts, and ability to email the provider.
Also, I was told that they are going to build a large one-​stop-​shop free standing Kelsey building near the Sam’s wholesale down the street. It will be open in Fall 2013. That would be awesome! I didn’t give this clinic 5 stars only because this is my one time experience… However, I will be back and if service was as prompt and friendly as this visit, I will change it to 5 stars.
