Southerland Chiropractic

I didnt have the luck the other person did, I wasnt asked about a free chiro consultation. So when I called in late summer to ask, he is no longer accepting new patients, the facility has transitioned themselves to a weight loss wellness center.

I discovered Southerland Chiropractic by accident because I purchased a Groupon deal for a massage at Portal Bodyworks which is located in the same office. As part of my massage, I was offered a free chiropractic consultation. I’ve never really had any issues with back or neck pain, but I figured I would at least see what the consultation had to offer.
I met with Dr. Southerland and learned about what chiropractic is and how it can be beneficial. I did some range of motion tests and did x-​rays. All of this was free of charge. When I came back to review the x-​rays, I learned that I had a slight irregular curvature in my neck. What I did not realize is that spinal alignment can help with more than back and neck pain.
I was started on a treatment plan where I would get adjusted 3x/​week, then 2x/​week, etc. Currently my schedule is once every 3 weeks. I have noticed that I have less headaches, my stress seems to be better controlled, and I feel like I’m sleeping better at night. My co-​worker even told me that I seem to be less on edge. I recently started having some pain in my wrists from typing so much at work, so I have been having my wrists adjusted and it has made a difference. My allergies tend to flare up during the fall season so I would also have an adjustment for my sinuses and again, I’ve noticed an improvement. I feel better once I get adjusted. Dr. Southerland’s office is about 5 minutes from my apartment so it’s very convenient to drop in before I go to work.
The staff is friendly and are helpful when it comes to scheduling adjustments, massages, and working out a payment plan. For anyone in the Pearland area who is looking for a great Chiropractor, I recommend Dr. Southerland’s office.

Used groupons for three massage sessions and love it. Joseph Mosley is great, knowledgable and experienced, highly recommend!
