Today’s Vision

I actually booked my appointment off of Zocdoc based on all of the positive reviews. Although there was a bit of a snafu with ZocDoc’s scheduling system syncing with theirs, the office was able to accommodate me and still get me in close to my desired time.
Once I arrived, they had a very neat, modern, and nicely decorated office. I only waited about 3 minutes before they were able to begin the process. I came in for both contacts and glasses and Dr. Dao was able to get everything done extremely quickly. What’s more, is that we discussed my eye conditions, talked about different contact brands, and then actually had a long conversation about the «why» as far as my needs were concerned.
The best part about the entire visit was that I never felt as if I was simply being pushed through a queue so that they can get my money and then sell me overpriced contacts and frames. Dr. Dao made it clear that it didn’t matter where you purchased your contacts and frames from, as long as they were a good fit and good for your eyes.
Although I did decide to make purchases from them, I never felt forced to. The entire process was smooth and each associate (like literally ALL off them) was helpful, accommodating and extremely polite. Although this is a bit far from my house, I will continue to visit in the future as this has been 10 times better than my previous encounters with other optometrists.

Worst service ever. My dad came for a vision test and they make up lies that it takes a week for his glasses to come in. Out of no where they said they can do over night shipping. Wtf is that. They were rude as hell. They act like I don’t speak Vietnamese and talk bad about me and my dad. Don’t do service with them. They over charge you for nothing bc you won’t save any percentage like they said

Dr. Husain is great. She is really knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of my questions. I felt really comfortable and she put all of my concerns at ease and I felt she did a thorough job. I think she was filling in at the location I visited (online it states that she practices in Pearland) and I was really glad she was my doctor for the day.

I and my whole family have been going to Dr. Dianne Dao’s office ever since they’ve been opened 15 years ago. She and her staff are THE BEST! Very helpful, knowledgeable and excellent customer service. They have a great selection and quality glasses and sunglasses. I can always count on Dr. Dao to fit me in the best type of contact lenses to fit my life style and age. We have never been disappointed with the quality service and products and will never go anywhere else. Keep up the good work Ana, Carmen and Dr. Dao!

Dr. Dao and her staff are friendly and professional. They use state of the art equipment and have the greatest selection of brand name glasses. I LOVE my Tiffany’s trifocals and Michael Kors sunglasses. My husband and I are repeat customers because we want the best for our eyes and Dr. Dao is so knowledgeable and thorough in her examinations. See you next year!

I came here a while back to get a pair of sunglasses with my prescription in them. The girls were really nice and help me find a pair of Oakleys that I liked it. I found a pair of sunglasses that I like but I really wasnt in love with. I told her I wanted to continue looking for the pair I wanted but I will consider these. She already had my insurance information so I left to continue shopping at other stores.
Later on that day I found the pair really wanted at another store and decided to get them. They told me my insurance was already used earlier and that they couldn’t do anything until that was released. I’m not sure if stores put a hold on your insurance but it really did inconvenience me. I’m not at all saying that the doctor or staff of today’s vision screwed me over in any way. I just don’t have time to wait for a hold on my insurance to be lifted when I’m there at another store ready to make my purchase. If this is standard procedure for insurance then please inform the customer that this could happen before they leave the store.

Not only is Dr. Dao really professional, she’s also incredibly accommodating. Both times I’ve been here, she moved get schedule around to fit me in and even stayed after hours once to help me remove something that was stuck in my eye on a weekend when all other places near me were closed or closing. She removed it, checked my eye out, and called to follow up a few days later. She’s also the only doctor to ever successfully fit me for contacts and others had been trying for many years to get me to make the switch from glasses. A+ doc in so many ways.
