The Field Library Book Store is a great idea — take library books and CDs that are no longer in circulation and sell them for no more than a few bucks. When there’s a sale, books can be as cheap as a quarter. My issue is that 1) you really have to rummage through the stuff, which gets pretty time consuming and 2) unless you are a Mary Higgins Clark/Nora Roberts/Tom Clancy/western romance novels kind of person, you won’t find anything you want to read.(I prefer more intellectually stimulating reads, personally.) It’s a great idea and I do stop by occassionally to see what they have. The people who work there are friendly as well.
