Godfathers Pizza

Pizza buffet in a strip mall sounds like a recipe for disaster! But I was pleasantly surprised! Restaurant was clean & appeared to have been recently remodeled. My husband had been raving about Godfathers taco pizza for years! He was not disappointed & still believes it’s the best taco pizza available. It was good, but I’m not sold on the best! Buffet offered a few other varieties as well as typical salad bar fare. Good clean stop on our road trip

Great pizza buffet for both lunch and dinner hours. They will make any pizza you want. The new management has made a lot of improvements for the better. They even have beer bottles for a buck.

We just keep going back! We live in AZ but travel back and forth to Illinois. We found Godfathers while looking for a lunch spot in Pekin. They have my favorite Taco Pizza! Stopped in for the lunch buffet today, July 7, and when there weren’t any taco pizzas on the buffet line I asked Olivia about getting one. She said yes. It took maybe 10 min. for it to come out! They make thin crusts or thick crusts but my fav is the thick one. While I waited for the pizza I had my salad from the bar and iced tea. They also have «dessert pizza» which isn’t bad. There is a senior discount that we took advantage of. The other thing that stands out is watching Olivia bus tables and CAREFULLY NOT slamming dishes while eating patrons still seated! YEAH!!! Wish some other establishments would take notice. (Buffalo Wild Wings) Its almost like they slam on PURPOSE! The bartenders are the worst. But anyway, not Olivia. It was very much appreciated. We will be back! They have changed a few things in the restaurant recently, like what looks like new paint and serving Miller Lite. I like the fancy new drink machine too. PS: NO ONE influences my review!
