I like the batter used to fry the chicken. The pieces are crispy and flaky, but not overly greasy. Chicken was a bit dry. That stems from leaving it too long under lamps in their serving bins. Mashed potatoes were good and I liked the gravy. The biscuits are really good. Price is spot on for what you get. This chain is very much like Popeye’s. This particular store was clean.

This was a «let’s try something new» restaurant. Being a part of Pelham, glad to see that smoking is not allowed. To our delight, Christian music is playing in the background. As for the food, it is quite tasty. Sure beats KFC. Nicely priced. Definitely will return.

Whenever I see a fast food joint be so pretentious as to say they are«Famous» in the name of their establishment I generally stay away in principal alone. However they do indeed have some«famously» good chicken here. Their direct competitor seems to be Popeye’s due to the whole Cajun thing they have on their menu. This location is easy to get in and out of and their drive thru service was quick like you would want it to be. Their breakfast menu is pretty impressive and their biscuits are quite good. I’m not the biggest fried chicken fan around — yeah I like it, but don’t find it to be a staple in my average meals — but despite that, I enjoy the food at Bojangles, and the service at this particular location is wonderful. The food tastes pretty fresh when you get it, and the chicken is almost always hot out of the cooker and prepared thoroughly. My wife and I find ourselves near the place pretty often on a Sunday afternoon or a Wednesday evening *coincidentally*(thanks to me) since those days are all-you-can-eat(chicken and sides and biscuits), and we’re never disappointed with either our meal or those preparing/presenting it. One thing to note about this location(hence the 4 stars instead of 5) is that more often times than not, it seems like the kitchen’s a bit hectic and unprepared for the amount of business they are doing for the day. In those cases, the wait for fresh bird(if you want a variety of sections) becomes a bit longer. Nothing intolerable, just longer… just putting that out there. But even in the midst of a chaotic work day, the staff is absolutely all about the customer service, and should be commended on it. So, you want some yardbird, you want a cheap(cost), fresh and hot meal, and you want it quick? Look no further.
