Fresh ingredients and generally good. I only had the canzone and it was done right with a rich sauce on the side.

I hate it, I hate reporting this. We have been going to Trentuno for years and years now. Have always loved it. Food was great, service was great. But, the past two times food has been suffering taste and service is not much better. Last night was the worst. Sauce for the Cal zone was burnt, had no flavor at all, wife’s pizza had NO sauce. Had to get salad remade twice after asking for no onions and still did not get any feta cheese. After a 5 minute discussion I finally received a cup of feta. Seems no one speaks English any more, nor Italian. One woman we watched had her order messed up, and then waited over an hour to have it corrected, she is a better person than me. It was so comical that she sit at the table with us to vent. Dang it, this was MY Italian place. Will not go back. I am sad…

This place is a solid Italian eatery. I thought this might be a sit down restaurant by the name and looks of the outside but it’s not. It’s an order at the counter place which is perfect for lunch or a quick dinner. Got the daily special spaghetti and it was tasty. Salad, drink, garlic bread, and spaghetti for $ 10 was a pretty good deal. The house dressing is great! It tastes a lot like Salvatore’s house dressing. Really this place reminds me of Salvatore’s in Hoover. I’d like to come back for lasagna or pizza some time. Try the daily $ 10 special and your tummy and wallet will be glad you did.

My husband took me there for the first time last evening. I had the«house calzone» and it could not have been better! It was served with a cup of marinara sauce that was delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try everything.

The service was slow. The food came out warm as if it was sitting waiting to be delivered to our table. We were not offer parmesan cheese as a topping to out dish. The Alfredo pasta was dry.

I have never eaten here so I can’t speak for the food but, the manager is extremely rude. I had a question about exactly where they were located and the manager answered the phone. The first thing out of his mouth was, «what is it, I’m busy». Needless to say, I hung up and went to a different restaurant.

Great pizza, suggest ordering it well-done to crisp it up a bit; great daily specials; reasonable prices; very good service; recommend the Saturday pizza special and the Friday Chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti special; love the Greek Salad(add grilled chicken as extra); good iced tea; limited beer and wine selection; tasty calzones; great house salad dressing; overall excellent value.

Eaten here approx. 6 times since March. Found it on Unilocal; don’t live in this part of town. I’ve always come on a Friday when they have the Chicken Parmesan Special with spaghetti and sauce, drink of choice, side salad and garlic bread. This is just a little joint in a strip mall; the entrée is served on a real plate, while salads and drinks are in disposable. What a delicious, filling meal it is! You order at the counter and pay, fill your own drink and find a spot. They bring meal to you. Don’t like onions on salad, so they gladly prepare one without for me. A cute hole in the wall for a single, a family, or a date. Can’t speak about anything else they serve, but the Chicken Parm is definately comfort food. $ 8.50 including tax!

This place is no frills, but that’s what I love about it. We came on a Friday and the special was chicken parmesean, which is one of my favorites. When you order a special, you get a small salad, two pieces of garlic bread, and a drink. My dude got a calzone and he said he preferred this calzone to Formaggios or Guiseppe’s(two places we also love but are not exactly in our neighborhood). We both left full and satisfied for right at $ 20, and this place is practically across the street from us!(Well, across 31 at least). I am very intrigued by some of their pizza toppings — such as eggplant and zucchini — so I definitely want to return and try some interesting pizzas!

Great food I go there every Thursday when in town. House calozone lunch comes w/salad and drink 8 $. And Friday is the chicken parm.

This is a different kind of place; more like a small town café, which it is. Pizza crust tastes like it is made in house. We had cheese pizza only so I cannot write about the freshness of the toppings. The prices are really low and with counter service you save even more. A very basic dining experience, but good food is to be had here.

I had a hard time finding this place; I guess I just kept missing the sign and didn’t see one on the road during lunch time traffic. I visited on a Friday, and had their lunch special which was Chicken Parmesan and spaghetti, including side salad, drink, and garlic bread. It was less than $ 10, and I was very impressed with the meal for the price. I thought the chicken parm was great, the sauce was not too sweet, the bread was good, and I liked their house salad dressing. I wish this place was closer to my office, as I’d probably eat here a few times a month if it was.

Decent meal for a low price. The tomato sauce was excellent, slightly sweet and very light. I was not impressed by the frozen garlic bread and too chewey ravioli. My husband loved his calzone.

Great place. The food is very good and the staff are very friendly. Everyone in our group enjoyed their dinner. We had the pesto gnocchi, calzone, meat balls, chicken parmesan, cheese pizza, salads. The house dressing was very good. We wanted to take some with us. We were there on a Friday night and there was live music. It was too loud and did not add to our experience. It was difficult to talk to each other during our meal. We will avoid Fridays.

Very cute restaurant. Very casual, but also very friendly. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table when it’s ready. I was in the mood for pizza so that’s what I got. After seeing/smelling the food at the other tables, I really wish I’d gone with an entrée or maybe a calzone. The pizza was good, but just«okay.» I will definitely be going back to try something else!

For over ten years, I’ve been going here at least once a week for lunch, sometimes twice. The daily lunch specials are very reasonably priced(under $ 8 with tax), and include the entrée, salad, and a beverage. The quality of the food has always been fresh and delicious. On Saturday’s, they offer a pizza and lasagna specials, which are great for feeding the family on the weekend. Also, I haven’t tried a pizza there I didn’t like. As some of the other reviewers pointed out, the calzones are very good. In my opinion, they are the best around. Thursdays are«calzone day» and the place tends to be a little more crowded, although I’ve never really had trouble finding a place to sit. The dining areas are fairly large and spacious and usually have plenty of seating. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, and the staff are always very friendly. It’s not a fancy or white table cloth kind of place, but if you want the best and freshest Italian food around and at a very reasonable price, then there’s no place better in my opinion.

Really great calzones and ridiculously low priced Italian meals. Staff is very friendly, and a family of four can eat for under 30 bucks with lots of leftovers.
