Had dinner with my daughter and got the Lamb Kabobs. It was fantastic. Cooked perfect and very tasty. It is a nice casual restaurant with very good prices. My server was really attentive and nice. I feel like it is a nice family restaurant for the locals. Will be back with the rest of the family.

Went in on Father’s Day for breakfast, sat for 20 minutes while being totally ignored. Waitress on cell phone in corner. Walked out and went to Alicia’s across the street. Horrible service!

We recently tried this place for breakfast. The service was absolutely horrible, horrible horrible. Oh wait, did I say the service was HORRIBLE. While the waitress was not friendly, she was actually un-friendly. Seems she was too preoccupied with getting a month off to go back to Greece, which was about the only thing she said in a pleasant tone of voice. As for the food it was not that great. The French toast was a dry as can be, my kids can cook better than that. The portions were small. At many other restaurants where I go for breakfast, the portions are at least 50% larger. The rest of the breakfast was also less than desirable including the coffee. That was by far the worst coffee on the planet; you get better coffee at dunkin donuts across the street. We will never have another meal at this location. Don’t waste your time or money at this establishment. I think you need to hire new staff.

We got the chicken kebab and veal parm and both were extremely underwhelming. The chicken was super dry and the entire meal was just very overpriced for the quality of food. The number of Greek items on the menu was also disappointing(no gyros?). Clam chowder was on point but that was the only part of the meal we enjoyed. Will not be coming back again.

Went here last night for dinner. Ordered the broiled shrimp entrée. When the $ 17 shrimp entrée arrived, it was served on a tiny plate with 5 small shrimp and about a half of scoop of broccoli. I couldn’t believe the tiny portion size. I asked her if she mistakenly put in for the appetizer instead of the entrée, but she told me that was the size. I literally finished my meal in 3 minutes, and sat and waited as the rest of my party ate their normal sized entrees(which were all appropriately portioned by the way) After telling the waitress I was still very hungry and extremely disappointed, she did apologize, but NEVER came over to offer me anything else, serve me more shrimp, give a complimented dessert, or anything. Will never dine at this restaurant again.

After hearing my family rave about this place, I had to try again. I have since been back twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the food was outstanding! I had spinach pie for lunch and the serving size was very generous, it was perfectly made and hot in the middle. I went for dinner and had the roast pork. Omg! To die for!!! The sangria was pretty good, too! Our server was super nice, accommodating, and she knew the menu inside out. Yay! I’m a fan!

I’ve been to this restaurant several times. This past weekend I took my entire family to the restaurant. The waitress couldn’t have been more unfriendly or un-accomodating. She was busy texting over by the register(yes, I could SEE you doing it) and she barely came to the table. It was apparent she had no interest in being there. Our table didn’t get bread when we sat down(or at all), we didn’t get asked if we want another round of drinks. and she cleaned off half the table, leaving the other half dirty… while she went to OTHER tables. If you are standing next to our table taking an order, turn around and make sure your other tables are ok by ASKING them. Also, if you serve a baked potato, be sure to ask if the patron wants butter, chives, sour cream. One of the diners didn’t get butter or chives. And, by the way, black yoga style pants are NOT a uniform. The bill was over $ 125 and I left only a 10% tip, but I am sure the waitress thought I tipped poorly… but it was directly due to the poor service and attitude. I will NOT revisit this restaurant, even tho the food is a favorite of my fiancé.

I have to say, this was my first experience for this restaurant. I had lunch. Upon entering I found a large open room, somewhat elegant dining room, with a large open bar straight to the back. It was more like a diner reception as I stood there for a few minutes until one waitress called out sit anywhere you like. Once seated it took sometime for service and I was shocked considering there were on 5 tables occupied and 2 hostesses on duty. When she finally did com to request our drink order she was not the friendliest. Asked question about some of the menu items and it was like she could not be bothered. My guests received their meals and I was served 10 minutes later. She asked, you never got your food… You tell me, i was a little upset and never offered to compensate me. The meal was good, the portion was more than sufficient. Will go back for second chance, but hope he service improves or will be done. And if you have a hearing impairment, don’t bother appeared awfully loud for such a small crowd.

Mixed reviews here… have eaten dinner and lunch in the restaurant as well as stopping by for the occasional drink. Get take out at least 1 – 2 times per month. Though the food is always very good, the portions for some orders(such as the chicken parm) are huge, while others are small and not worth the price. The staff is accommodating and friendly though they do take personal calls while working… right at the bar! The restaurant is small so their voice carries. There is always someone(family) at the bar working on personal items… taking customer seats. I recommend trying it and making your own decision…

The other night we just wanted a quick bite and a drink so we popped in here. WOW! What an improvement. They have scaled down their menu and now are specializing in Greek/Italian cuisine. The place was busy which was good for them. We had the Pastichio and the Spinakapita. Both were excellent. Now very willing to give them more business.

Note: This is about the Dinner Menu & Service. There’s a bit of an identity crisis between the menu, the atmosphere, and the service. The menu is priced higher than the atmosphere, service, or food quality deserve. Upon walking in, you get the feeling that this is more of a diner, with its tile floors, open table seating, and walk up bar at the back of the room– leather and wood furnishings make it feel upscale for a diner, but it doesn’t quite have the full finishes needed to feel like an elegant evening restaurant. Even though they have attempted to dampen the loudness of the room with some makeshift acoustic tiling, it’s still kind of noisey(and we were one of only three tables dining.) You might be expecting a menu with meals under $ 10, but that’s where the biggest identity crisis comes in. A garden salad with some mild flavored grilled shrimp = $ 16. Chicken Broccoli Alfredo = $ 15. Side salad is an extra $ 3, and it’s served with plastic on top letting you know that it was prepared earlier in the day and has been sitting for an undisclosed amount of time. A fast improvement would be to simply have servers remove the plastic wrap and plastic top from the dressing to at least give it the illusion of being freshly prepared rather than pulled from a cafeteria line-up of counter foods. Unwrapping food reminds me of fast food, not freshly prepared food. The rolls were tasty but the seasoning on the rest of the foods were pretty standard to bland. The service was slow to check on our drinks and we practically needed to flag our server down for our check, and we were one of three tables in the restaurant– not in the middle of a huge rush. Perhaps it was a bad service day, but the price and quality of the food were unappealing enough to make me not really desire coming back. Looking at the breakfast menu online– I see a menu that exudes more of what this establishment feels like when you walk in the door. I agree with another reviewer– dinner service would probably benefit from a trimmed down menu with maybe ten signature dishes done really well rather than trying to spread the menu and chefs thin and charging for all the food that’s not getting used. If we happen to be in the area around breakfast, maybe we’ll give the morning menu a chance because that banana covered waffle on the website looks awesome, but there’s not much chance we’ll be back for dinner.

Good food and served hot and fresh. Stuffed grape leaves and baked lamb shank are excellent and filling. Spinach pie also good when it is coming out of the oven. Clean and sit yourself seating. Breakfast menu looked reasonable. A good alternative to the standard old downtown Lowell places and looking for parking.

NOVEMBER2010 Terrible restaurant. My fiancé got a severe case of food poisoning and was violently ill after eating the chicken here. Eating here is not worth the cost of missing days of work and the associated medical expenses. Owners were ignorant and told us to deal with their distributor regarding the matter. They refused to take any responsibility whatsoever, no refund, not even an apology – NOT the way to run a business. Diners beware!

I decided to check out Dimitriou’s Family Restaurant, which is located next door to Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins. Dimitriou’s serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, has been open for several months, which is a great addition to the limited dining choices in Pelham, mostly pizza and fast food. This restaurant and bar looks nice and very clean with a casual modern and family friendly atmosphere, an open concept in one large room with high ceilings, decorative hanging light fixtures, colorful art, table seating surrounded by comfortable booths lined along each side of the room. There’s counter seating and bar seating in the back and a big HDTV mounted on the wall above the kitchen. A bar is stocked with liquor and 4 beers on tap here. As for the food, the breakfast offerings include eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, home fries, and sides. Donahue Bros Coffee is brewed here. The lunch/dinner menu offerings include sandwiches, soups, steaks, chicken, seafood, Italian & baked parmigiana dishes, Greek dishes(they have grape leaves!), and homemade desserts. Kids menu available. The prices are moderate, most entrees priced $ 10-$ 16. Lunch specials are offered from 11AM-3PM. I arrived here around 11:15AM and it was seat yourself. They were serving both menus and I started out with some hot coffee($ 2), while I decided whether or not I was going to order breakfast or lunch. The coffee was good, on the strong side. Most of the other customers were ordering breakfast/brunch. I decided to order the Haddock Parm Lunch Special($ 12) which came with two sides. The waitress brought out some hot chewy rolls and butter, which were pretty good. The fresh garden salad took a while to come out(plastic wrap removed from chilled plate and served, a similar concept to truckstop diners I’ve been to), the waitress apologized for the delay. The salad was pretty good though, fresh iceberg, with tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, red cabbage, and red onions. The Haddock Parmigiana was served in a casserole dish piping hot out of the oven with the side of mashed potatoes(no pasta offered as a choice of side). The breaded haddock at first had a slight fish smell from the steam, which quickly disappeared as I ate my food. The haddock was very soft and tender topped with a chunky tomato sauce with green peppers and a thick layer of mozzarella cheese. The mashed potatoes were very good with a soft creamy texture. The service was attentive for the most part. I was offered several refills/top-offs on the coffee throughout the meal and more dinner rolls too. The dishes were cleared promptly as I finished my food. The portion of food was very filling to eat and I passed on the dessert, some selections sounded very interesting including the Baklava Sundae, Fried Banana with ice cream, and Crème Caramel. Next time, I WILL save room for dessert since I have a great LOVE for BAKLAVA, especially with ice cream, butterscotch, and walnuts(mouthwatering now).
