Happy Trees

Executive Summary: Victor, owner and operator of Happy Trees, and his teams are excellent!
We needed six trees cut down and removed from our property. We could have called a lumber company IF we had 20+ trees we could identify for removal; the cost in that case is zero, but they only take the large trunk pieces and leave a tremendous mess (branches, twigs, leaves and stumps) for homeowners to clean up. Happy Trees not only cut trees down, but they also clean up everything! Stump grinding is optional (which we had done).
One of Victor’s two crews (four experienced men per crew) were able to start the job the afternoon before the promised start date, which was fine with us! They quickly, efficiently and safely took down the trees, five of which where near the house and one near power lines. After each tree was down, they cut up the branches and trunk and ran everything through a chipper, with the chips going into a large panel truck; some of the better tree trunks were set aside for pickup later.
Having the six trees cut, removed and the area cleaned of branches/​twigs and raked took less than a day (actually, two half-​days); the stump grinding happened a few days later. Happy Trees has expertise and the right equipment to get the job done safely. And the cost was quite fair and reasonable compared to what I have paid in the past. I highly recommend Happy Trees.

Victor was very quick to respond to my online inquiry. We negotiated a price after I sent some pictures the four trees I needed pruned — all of which needed a climber (no access for a crane). Two of the four trees were fully grown 100+ foot pine trees with countless dead limbs that could potentially be dangerous for my kids. Victor was very understanding of this and he was able to get us into his schedule quickly and on a weekend. He was able to do the work himself and the quality was excellent! He was very easy to work with and was very friendly and personable. One of the four trees was located just above some perennials, shrubs and a small tree that we had just recently planted and Victor took the time to rope off and carefully place the cut branches in a safe area so no damage was done. My wife and I are extremely happy with the how everything turned out and would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Victor is great and I would definitely recommend Happy Trees to anyone who needs tree work. My insurance company asked me to cut down trees I didn’t want to remove. Victor gave a very thorough review of the potential issues with limbs overhanging the house and had a number of options to try and get me the most cost effective fix. He even offered to write a letter to my insurance company to talk them into a less costly fix. My neighbors have used him as well and he and his crew were friendly, courteous, quick, and left the place in great shape when they were done. Highly recommended!
